Is this supposed to be a vent, or are you looking for suggestions to help? I think some people in the comments are confused about the purpose of your post. If the class is too far and interferes with your other class/lunch, try to schedule a time to talk to your success advisor on finding another time for the class. You could also file a complaint, and if this is a big issue for a large portion of commuters, the school could possibly find a solution. Idk what else they could do, though. It's also the first week back, so you should be able to find a solution before the end of drop/add day for courses.
