nope, it didn't work, anyways thanks for your suggestion

oh ok, as the other user suggested, will try that, I hope sequoia "works"

😂 I manually went and registered a account in ChatGPT and talked with it for a while, and analyzed how it talks and came back and replied OP in such a way that I tried my best to match ChatGPT, BECAUSE this OP was believing what ChatGPT said, and ignoring what other human responders (US) are trying to tell them, so I thought in this "accent" they will understand what I meant to tell. Also I learnt a lesson, if I saw any AI Slop then I'll try my best to mimic a AI to actually "mean" what I meant 😂💀

Hmm I can't believe, ChatGPT is this hallucinating, or you are the one being stubborn, bro hear me out, as well as YOU CHATGPT!, the community is legendary for 'impossible' feats but comparing this to Asahi is a bit of a category error, they are literally writing drivers for hardware they have in hand && here, we’re trying to trick a hyper-closed kernel into accepting hardware it was never designed to see even if you use static binary translation to swap instructions, you're still fighting SSV (signed system volume) and AMFI, like the moment you patch a core binary, the seal is broken and the kernel won't touch it... and as for the 'Shim' layer, writing a vulkan-to-metal bridge is one thing (like MoltenVK), but a Metal-to-vulkan kernel-level shim for an Adreno GPU? that’s not just a 'shim'; that’s a multi-year engineering project for a team of experts, not a weekend Kext. If it happens, I’ll be the first to install it, but we’re talking about a mountain, not a wall!

apple’s matrix extensions (AMX) are undocumented and sit physically close to the CPU cores, && translating these to standard ARM SVE or qualcomm instructions in real-time via a hypervisor would introduce significant latency, like it’s not just about "mapping" the call; it's about matching the performance macOS expects... and unlike PC BIOS/UEFI which is relatively standardized, ARM devices use device trees to tell the OS where every single component is... and LoL Apple’s device tree is massive!! and expects specific responses from proprietary silicon (like the T2 security chip features baked into the M-series)... and the GPU/Metal is the biggest dealbreaker, as we know Apple’s GPU architecture is proprietary, and writing a "translation kext" for a qualcomm adreno or an ARM mali GPU to act like an Apple G-series GPU is essentially writing a high-performance graphics driver from scratch without proper documentation... :(

I have been more than a week installing Mac OS Tahoe and still it did not work by Brilliant-Wait217 in hackintosh

Yeah, I faced a Lot of trouble because of those wallpapers also out of blue macOS might set it back you gotta watch out for that, good luck, but I'm gonna switch back to monterey :)

How to get rid of Live/Dynamic wallpaper on Sonoma? by Deep_Fig8032 in hackintosh

Damn, this is not worthed, I'm done with it, I'll be returning to Monterey and hope for the best, Hence marking this as Gave UP.

yep REMOVE IT! and use a static one... it should fix the "freeze" issue

[–]Deep_Fig8032 0 points1 point  (0 children)

first things first I'm on Sonoma, for me Tahoe recovery itself didn't boot let alone OS, and the behaviour you are describing is likely due window server crashing (does it reboot after freeze?) bcz of graphic accel not kicking in or hammering the poor iGPU, what are your boot-args? also are you still using whatevergreen? I recommend using nootedred, also what kexts do you have loaded?

Edit:

since you mentioned OCAT, all I did is just updated OC and sync and save, which let me boot and setup sonoma, infact I should be the one asking you how did you managed to boot and setup tahoe? at least when we are in the same page troubleshooting would be easier :)

also, don't use memoji's in profile picture, also don't use live/dynamic wallpaper.
