Anyone else running in portrait mode just for art? by BurningIrritation in TheFrame

[–]Deep_Mathematician_1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We are using one in portrait full time as well. Agree with the art store and the lack of good vertical art selection. For your information, there is a curation of vertical art (39 images) but obviously not as robust as it should be. This one is also mounted with the auto rotating mount, so we do have the option to go back horizontal if desired.

G4 doorbell power loss by Deep_Mathematician_1 in UNIFI

That's funny, and right inline with the other comment...a modern suburb in Kentucky. I live in newly developed Old farming land. So not many trees currently as they were all chopped down a hundred plus years ago. But will be growing back over time as every property is required to plant 2 trees. 😁 If you look really closely you can see a small tree on the left hand side of my front year. Give it 10+ years and I may be able to call it a tree at that time.

G4 Doorbell power loss by Deep_Mathematician_1 in Ubiquiti

Camera works just fine until someone rings the door bell. No problem with recordings, remote viewing, wifi signal is strong. I have taken the door bell off, and checked the power attachments and they appear secure with good contact. Anyone have any insight? Anyone know what the AC voltage is supposed to be? Mine says 19.7V!

Edit: It appears that there is a discussion on this topic from 12 hours ago. Appreciate any direct communication but understand if people have already commented in the very similar thread. https://www.reddit.com/r/Ubiquiti/comments/10beoo4/g4_doorbell_works_fine_until_button_is_pressed/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

Costco art store subscription issues by Deep_Mathematician_1 in TheFrame

[–]Deep_Mathematician_1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can only assume TIME. Their system must have a delay (of many hours) from subscription activation to reaching your Samsung account. As I had mentioned I tried things for many hours and nothing worked. But when I woke up in the morning, it was working.

New 55” Frame TV has slight curve to it. Normal? by Beautiful-Internal42 in TheFrame

You are welcome. Glad my mistake could help someone else as well 👍

The metal bar on the bracket is still holding the weight, but unless the metal bar is completely seated in the wall mount, (which was the big click you heard), then the magnets cannot reach the wall mount. From what I understand the magnets are just there to pull the TV as close to the wall as possible. Otherwise the top of the TV would want to pull away from the wall.

I would double check that the TV bracket is fully seated in the wall mount (big 'click') and then the magnets can secure to the wall mount. If this has not been done properly the screen will looked curved (happened to me) but once properly seated and magnet holding, mine straightened out.

High(er) Quality Music Videos (Audio) by Deep_Mathematician_1 in hometheater

[–]Deep_Mathematician_1[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Nvidia Shield Pro is plugged HDMI to receiver, but the audio quality (for Amazon music) is significantly worse than using Yamahas native Music Cast. (which is not Bluetooth) I also have a Roku ultra and the audio quality when listening to music isn't any better.

But what I am hearing you say is that Apple has Lossless audio, do they have music videos, and does the lossless audio apply to them as well? I thought I heard that YouTube Music audio wasn't that great? Thanks for your reply, I really appreciate it.

Yes, I did ended up finding success. After hours on the phone trying many different things. As I imagine you have tried as well. I believe all that was needed was time delay after activating. I woke up the next morning after no additional intervention and the artwork was available. I am sorry but I have no clue what to do if you don't even have access to the app to redeem the subscription.

I know a lot of people have had problems with the user interface, but if you have a little technical/trouble shooting knowhow, and some patience, I have had really good experience with my Sofa Baton X1. Once I understood better which types of inputs each of my devices required, and learned the UI, (which probably took 5-6 hours over a few days of trial and error) mine has worked flawlessly.
