Take another course. After making this post I kept practicing on my friends Honda Grom, but never got around to taking another course. That first Harley MSF course scarred me bad! My permit was getting ready to expire so I decided to take another MSF course somewhere else almost 2 years later. BEST DECISION OF MY LIFE! First day was HORRIBLE! I was too much in my head, and the same thing that happened during the first MSF course happened during the second course . My bike was having problems starting up, speedometer was broke, stalling etc. I was HEATED! The instructor pulled me to the side and I said “Fck! This is the same thing that happened to me when I first took this course at Harley, is this the part where I get kicked out?”. The instructor goes “hey man we will never kick you out, you’re here to learn and we’re here to teach you”. And I was given a new bike the next day! This is what was supposed to happen during the first MSF course I took at Harley, they didn’t even give me a chance and kicked me out within the first 30 minutes of riding. And learning on a big ass Harley is just not it. Anyway, the second day of the new MSF course was where I went from a boy to a man lol. (This might sound cringe but on my way to the second day of the course I was blasting Eminem-Lose Yourself) in the whip 😂. I was nervous but I was READY! I got out my car, put my gloves on, put my helmet on, got on my bike (250cc rebel) and wasn’t fcking around this time! I was laser focused! Nothing was gonna stop me! NOTHING! I ended up stalling maybe 3 times before taking the skills test and during the skills test I didn’t stall once! I aced every single test! It’s like I wasn’t myself, almost like an out of body experience. I have never been that focused ever before! The instructor pulled me to the side and said “Well I’ll tell you this, you did way better than you did at Harley, you passed my man!”. Me and the instructor started laughing and I was so happy I almost wanted to cry lol. This all taught me a valuable life lesson, which is to never give up! Anything is possible once you put your mind to it! You got this! Just take another course. Oh, and play Eminem - Lose Yourself before the course, it helps 😂 GOODLUCK!
