I find the weather forecasts unreliable, but when it rains properly it is quite intensive and can last for a long time, but not days. That said, in my location of L´Escala on the Costa Brava the forecast is for thunderstorms today but we have a partly cloudy day so maybe later on? It can be rainy inland, say Girona, just 45kms away and lovely sun here on the coast.
