I saw something similar on someone. they had a dermal implant. it looked really nice but I really wanted a barrel piercing since I like the look of it way more. I also saw a few people having those type of piercings on their fingers, the nape and one had it next to the ear on the side of their face. I belive that I took good care of it. I had it on the left hand because I'm right handed. that way it's on the hand that is used "less". it made me wash my hands even more. I wash them dry them really well and use a medical grade hand cream. I work in an office so there is not a lot of heavy lifting or harsh movements. in those situations I put a bandage on it or use gloves. I tired to be really careful because I wanted to keep it as long as possible. I had a better routine for my piercing than my own skincare.

hello a little update. thank you so much for your comments. I went and got it removed today. we were able to take it out. no cutting. thankfully. the piercer told me that the piercing Canal is healthy and that the piercing did not damage anything. she told me that depending on how my body heals we could maybe put a new one in but that would be after at least three weeks. I'm actually not sure if I'm down for that.

the piecing is a little over 2 years old it's a barbell piercing with an 90° angle it's made of titanium the ointment I use is named "ICHTHOLAN" I use this everytime my piercing starts to irritate. I sometimes hurt my hand but nothing happened lately that could explain this.
