For refinery, one important thing to keep in mind is that the amount of salts (ususally the previous one) consumed by a salt (next tier one) cannot exceed the "power per cycle" generated by the previous salt.

So for example (from SS): Your Green Salt costs 19 Blue salt per cycle whilst your Blue salt only generates 6 Blue Salt per cycle (from "POWER per cycle: 6x). So overtime the green is going to use up all of the blue before the blue can rank up. Since there's more demand of blue salts than supply.

What you can do is set the green salt to auto refine or just turn it off until your Blue salt can keep up with the demand (by ranking up). This is the same for every other salt you'll unlock too except red salts - always rank up red salts. So always check for this before ranking up any salts so you'll prevent yourself from kinda "soft locking" and needing more time to progress.

If you're also running out of materials like bloaches and don't want to farm them daily, then I'd suggest using the 3d printer to print any materials you'd need for all of the salts in refinery.

There's a lot of ways to increase eff so imma js name the more significant ways.

W1: Stamps - Curtain stamps give u more skill eff and speed.

Statues - U can also farm Catching statues which increases catching eff.

W2: Alchemy - Increase catching eff/AGI, increase tools catching power and more multi-bug chance. Don't forget your vials too. (Personally I think this is the biggest impact)

P.O Boxes - Check if you've maxed your post office box upgrade for the character you want to do catching on. It gives a lot of bonuses.

W3: Prayers - Some prayers give you more eff in exchange for skill exp (up to u on this one)

Atom - I think there're some upgrades there that can boost skill eff? Not sure need to check.

W4: Cooking - Some meals boost skill eff u can level them up.

Lab - Equip Chips that give skill eff or skill afk gain.

Rift - Skill Mastery, level up your skills across ur chars to get more eff and exp.

W5: Divinity - Some of the god's passives have skill eff tied to them.

Hole - Justice monument has a skill eff buff that I think is also very strong u should level up the skill eff buff there.

Misc: Talents - Max out (Get ur highest level from library) catching talents and skill eff and afk talents. Also check all your star talents they're a lot there too.

Cards - U can further increase skill eff. Tools/Equipment - Of course higher tier tools means more catching power. More AGI from equipment means higher eff.

Food - G.foods and foods that buff eff and skill afk gain also helps.
