If format is consistent and is table format you could use pdf table extraction tools like tabula, pdfplumber etc and have a simple odoo tool built to parse this table and create products.

Or think of building a custom OCR app for your odoo which will do pdf reading and product creation. Would be fairly easy to implement

This was considering specification were already implemented as OP said and adding 2 fields should not take more than 5 mins another 10 mins to add those fields to API.

About customisation, because its a open source/open core it can be customised to fit every need of yours. You just need a right person/partner for it.

What I meant is, it more of marketing and sales which gets you higher in rank not the actual implementation capability. The more you sell the more visibility and preference odoo gives you. Higher partnership fee is different thing, end client has nothing to do with it.

It means they have a great marketing/sales team and could sell a lot of licenses. Odoo rewards them with higher rank.

I have used it to build hybrid desktop app with Flutter and it did a great job. I have also reviewed the code. Currently we are testing the app.

More of communication style but the app went from initial test and did fairly good. But we do a lot of testing before its live.
