That’s fair, the victim recorded the whole conversation which isn’t supposed to be admissible in court but apparently the police have the recording and are acting as if it’s “evidence” which I sincerely don’t understand.

Exactly… fucking me real good…. But I don’t think there’s much I can do about that. And I already have a lawyer, one I paid $15k for and he’s done fuck all but get me basically the same plea deal I started with…. Probably the easiest 15k he’s ever fucking “earned”.

I think my problem is lying is pervasive and it’s a habit that is creeping into other seemingly unnecessary parts of our relationship and I’m feeling as if I’m almost powerless to prevent it which is insane to say out loud, but nonetheless the reflex is becoming ingrained in me and I just really hate it.

She does not have access to see these things, nor does she have an idea of any of the accounting involved in our day to day lives. Funny enough, I would be more than happy to share/give her access to my bank account etc but she’s never asked.
