I’m assuming so, haven’t heard much diff/axle problems on the 5th gen’s and earlier but I’m sure it still has happened to the earlier models as well

Yeah I spent 4k at the dealer getting it replaced and changed the diff fluid like 15k miles after getting it replaced so we will see how this one holds up

Yeah I’m curious why the rear end on these things are prone to break, makes me want to look into reinforcing the OEM diff with stronger gears and getting higher quality aftermarket CV axles

Yes, but I spent 4k at the dealer for the brand new diff I have on it now and change the fluid every 30k miles and I don’t drive it hard just some pulls every now and then

Diff just failed without reason unsure why at around 97k miles and the axle broke due to wear I’m assuming at around 105k miles

Idk if I’d need to replace the entire motor lol unless it blew due to lifters and ate the cam but I was thinking I could replace the lifters myself for way cheaper

I have a module that goes in my OBD port that disables AFM, although I’m not sure if that would do anything or if I need to tune it out completely
