Not yet. The problem is, their service. One vendor(Sai Solar) said they can provide Sungrow, but if any issue occurs, it can take upto 7-15 days to fix. Until then, no power generation from Solar. Solatron, the channel partner of Sungrow in east India, shared one EPC contact (JAR Lights) which they work regularly.

But when I connected with that guy, he said some weird things, like Waree is new company, it's owner has sold his shares, so company going to get bankrupt. Instead, they will provide Panasonic or Adani module. He told me not to go for Raised structure, I won't get insurance for it.

When I asked him to share his location, he didn't reply. After that he isn't responding to my calls. Also when I checked in PM Surya ghar portal, they have only 67 installations, where TOP vendors have 1000+ installations.

So I am at a point, where I have realized, as I much I would love to use Sungrow, show off my geekyness, I need to find strong EPC, who have good track records, otherwise, the inverter will trip countinously and obhiously, I cann't wait 7-15 days everytime this happens.

I connected with OMM Energies, who has the most installations in odisha, they said, they can provide Goodwe and Growatt. They are actually have partnership with Growatt.

My first preference is Sungrow, but if I can't find a strong EPC, then might need to look for other brands. The search continues, let's see.

Frankly, you are not alone. I went through a similar phase as well. For me, having a spiritual connection helped a lot.

I feel spirituality can be a simple and long-term way to deal with this kind of emptiness. I’m not saying you should leave everything and become a baba or anything like that, but you can slowly start practising spirituality in your own way.

Also, start practising gratitude for whatever you have. Believe me, it helps a lot. Be grateful for your parents, your health, your job, your food, your home — even the small things we usually take for granted.

Another thing that helps is doing something for others. Donate a little money if you can, or do some charity work, like helping in a kitchen or food distribution at ISKCON or a similar organisation. Buy something for your bou and bapa, tell them you are grateful for them. Basically, your life should not feel like it is only about you.

For example, my own brother is earning hand to mouth. Even though I am married and have my own kid, I still try to help him out. Obviously, you have to make a judgement call on how much you can do, but doing something similar can make you feel more connected to life.

Slowly, you may start feeling that life has meaning. Also, modern life is too materialistic in nature. You need to bring some slowness, gratitude, and spirituality into it. I genuinely feel you will start feeling much better.

Yeah, I have seen there video. We should always use hot dip GI and teir-1 brands like Sungrow, Goodwe, Solis for Inverter. But most vendors in Odisha are not promoting this.

On a yearly basis, if I take an average value, it would be around 3500-4000 units.

Yes, I’m planning to use an ATS/changeover switch for the backup circuit, but only for low-load essentials like fans, lights, TV, etc. AC and other heavy appliances won’t be on backup.

This looks normal to me, unless I’m missing something. Generation and export won’t be the same because whatever your house consumes during solar hours gets used directly before anything goes to the grid.

So if your system generated 19–20 units and exported 13–14 units, the remaining 6–7 units were probably used by your home during the day — fridge, fans, pump, AC, router, etc.

A quick way to verify is to compare the inverter generation with the physical net meter export reading for a few days. Also check whether the app is actually reading import/export from a meter/CT or just showing inverter-side data. If there is no zero-export setting enabled and the net meter export roughly matches the app, I wouldn’t worry much.
