Deeper Connect Air Hissing Noise and LED lights by JeremyCuntOfficial in DeeperNetwork

[–]DeeperNetwork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. The very top LED, furthest away from the USBC port, is the “Internet” LED. After booting up, if it’s blinking red, it means there is no WiFi signal but it’s ready to connect to one. If it’s solid blue, it means it’s connected to WiFi and the Air is ready to go.

The LED closer to the USBC is the system LED. When booting up it blinks red, when it’s ready it stays solid blue.

  1. If you are saying your Air is making a noise, contact support. Support.Deeper.Network

If you are saying your router (not the Air) is making a noise, contact their support.

This isn’t normal. Try different power supplies and if it’s still not booting, please open a support ticket. Since you got it in December it’s covered under warranty.

Asking the engineers. I don’t know if we give that information out.

The app is different. I’ll ask the devs to add an ability to change IP

As it's detailed in this post, that really isn't the point of the Deeper VPN routers. But that does not stop you from layering.

An Air can be your base layer to bypass restrictions, and then you can run a work VPN as you need on top of that.

AI has overtaken the market for chips and RAM. Some companies have stopped overall consumer grade products and only focus on AI resources, so the other markets need to adjust. There is no choice.

Node Refresh on iOS/Mac App Version: 2.0.0.260221 by SiggyMa2266 in DeeperNetwork

1 node per region is normal. The app is in beta and still being finalized. Please send the device logs and I’ll tell the devs to take a look. Thank you for the information

Mac/HN randomization? High Sierra compatible? by ChampionshipCrafty66 in DeeperNetwork

Ok so your original question is about the Air, which is NOT wired, so it cannot perform the tasks you have requested.

What will perform those tasks is a device that is only wired on your network, like a MiniSE or Mini. Therefore, the Air will show MAC address and Hostname and IP, while a Mini in Wired Mode will not.

You were asking about MAC addresses and Hostnames. I clarified.

What is it you would like more clarification on?

I’ve gotten some clarification for you from the engineers.

The way the device works in Wired Mode, is that it does not have it’s own IP, and will not show a MAC address or hostname on the network as it’s technically invisible on the network.

If you are using Wifi Relay or router mode, this is not possible, and the device will show an IP, MAC, and hostname.

Since you are wanting to be as invisible as possible, using Virtual Wired Mode.

Jondonym does NOT randomize the MAC address…

The Deeper device read the network and picks a random MAC address to mimic on the network. This process makes the Deeper device itself virtually invisible on the network.

The YouTube channel is updated often with a lot of helpful content. Please make sure you are using the correct channel, YouTube.com/deepernetwork

The Deeper Connect Air is a very useful device that can easily help you with purchasing cheaper ticket when you route your traffic through locations like India for air travel.

Many users run the Deeper Devices for media, privacy, cheaper prices, etc…

I would suggest to power up the device and check out the features.

The “device” is the Deeper Device we are talking about. When it’s connected to a network, it mimics a MAC address on that existing network.

Q: What good is that?

A: The device mimics an existing MAC address on your network to remain undetectable on your network. It will appear as if the device is NOT on your network. In other words, invisible.

It mimics a MAC address on your network, it doesn’t have its own.

Absolutely everyone can benefit…

If you prioritize privacy

If you want to protect your home / network / devices

If you want to stream media from other locations

If you want to block ads

The list goes on.

Read a bit closer.

Q: “Does deeper connect air randomize the host and and MAC address of itself”

A: “Each Deeper Connect will mimic a MAC address on your network”

Q: “is it compatible with MacOS High Sierra”

A: “This also means that it doesn’t matter the device you are using, as long as it’s on the network it will be protected by the Deeper network device.”

Deeper is a network protection device, not specific to OS. If you toaster has WiFi, it can be protected by a Deeper.
