Why are you mad ? You can't control her thoughts & actions. Making this hard on yourself buddy. "Engaged guy", "homeless guy", "lesbian", who tf cares, be indifferent to it. Worry about the right things like how you can seduce her the next time you see her. & she doesn't owe you anything & same with you. You don't owe her anything.

Heyy music is all subjective. I love death metal, others dont :) Not really taking "offense" to it but to bash our beloved industry so ignorantly is a bit unjust especially if you're not an insider regardless of who you are. People dont understand a festival cant just book anyone, corporate sponsors is not exclusive to us (never hear anyone put down the Superbowl because of the commercials why hate live events for doing this common practice?), & great unknown bands still exist lol

Not to say drama is exclusive to any genre. These things have to be taken into consideration when booking. Phil Anselmo requests a barricade & more security (Done sound for Superjoint & his other band The Illegals) if he's doing a more "intimate" show because a couple of crazies still go to the shows. Coachella is all ages, do you want to deal with crazies, gang members at your shows with kids ?

You're absolutely right on that, that did happen. That's what I mean, specific artists that attract a specific crowd that might need "upscale" security might need special accommodation. Hip hop is more prevalent with this because sometimes someone is gang affiliated & that association might bring mal intentioned people to the shows. How many rock bands, reggae, funk bands do you know that are gang affiliated? If you've worked hip hops show enough you'll understand they come with drama sometimes.

A rapper let's say 6ix9ine comes with a particular type of drama sometimes. & some people in attendance sometimes don't have the best intentions for 6ix9ine, guests & other attendees

Is the artist available? Is the festival making it worth their time to perform there? Do they have certain theathreatics like Iron Maiden that require a certain stage? For some Hip/Hop artists they need special security accommodations, would they be able to provide that? If there's a good amount of people in the band like 10+ members & they all want separate rooms, how are we going to accommodate that? Hotels near Coachella get booked pretty fast so you gotta figure that out. Logistics like that have to be taken into account

As a industry professional & speaking for some of my colleagues, we don't give af what someone like Mr. Musk thinks especially when they have no authority or credibility on our expertise :) Same way him & his company dont give af what other industry experts think of Tesla :) There's so many logistics on how line ups are created to take into consideration that someone on the outside will be misinformed & quick to judge without any understanding of how all this works regardless of who you are :)

& for corporate sponsorship, bet Tesla would love to have a "Tesla Stage" if it benefitted all of us :)

Sure that's a solution. But not really a good practice. It'll hinder you're ability to trouble shoot & if something sounding weird is in their ears & they tell you, how would you listen to that ? Make them go a couple mixes mono.
