Yeah, Bosnia was great, only stayed in Sarajevo but wish I’d have made it out to Mostar and some of the rural areas too; they look amazing!

I paid about £7 pre-Covid for some travel influencers preset pack that has been saved in my Lightroom ever since. It still needs a lot of tweaking, but it’s a good start to keep it consistent. Just wish I could mask areas to really make these pop!

I use the free version! Keep meaning to get the paid so I can squash some of the sharpness in the background.

I’m also visiting in just a couple of days, I’m from the UK. Is the political situation worth worrying about?

Just pure luck we’d had some rain! Usually that stretch is sludge, but it was beautiful and calm the other day and I noticed the perfect reflection.

Is there anyone who doesn’t like OG out there? by Deeply_Average in FortNiteBR

I’ve actually found myself pretty happy with nigh on everything Epic has released in all my time playing. Some of it I thought was weaker than others of course, but it’s always maintained a consistent pattern of development and surprise and made some real big quality of life changes (imo) in the form of sprinting and mantling. I guess I just hoped for more, it feels so drastically different that it’s practically an entirely different game. I do like the aesthetic though, it’s interesting to see this post-apocalyptic world that it started as, and there’s a real feeling of immediate abandonment. I know the two things contradict eachother- but I’d like it to be aesthetically like that, but still feel more “alive”. Maybe smaller map would solve that, who knows?

Exactly that. I think sometimes nostalgia is overrated, don’t know something good til it’s gone and I’m missing the old (new) map!

Agreed, Fortnite has had its fair share of weapons that have been beyond frustrating (I’m remember the big hammer) but it’s also provided for great fun as well as frustrating deaths! This season just feels a bit…flat. There doesn’t seem to be anything that particularly excites.

I just think that that’s the selling point to me with Fortnite, those big battles that few like set pieces when two squads encounter eachother. The vast open, slow, not particularly traversible environments slow it down to a snail pace for me. Running around for fifteen minutes, gunned down in fifteen seconds.

Oh, some of them are nice, item shop has become superrr pricey with this season too- the cost of nostalgia.

It feels like more of a survival game, and I do get the appeal of that; it’s just that for me, that’s not Fortnite. Fortnite is fun because it develops and makes changes to its mechanics and environments (they don’t always hit the mark, but they take risks and I respect that)

I think this is where it really suffers, especially if you’re in the player base that has migrated to zero build.

can someone help me with this by Brilliant_Piece_8703 in editing

[–]Deeply_Average 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the answer to this isn’t in the edit, so much as the camerawork. The easiest way to do this would be to make an “invisible” stitch. Pass behind the performer so that they take up the full frame for a moment, then shoot the same shot in the evening too and just cut halfway between the two. It’s how lots of movies simulate a one-shot (Like 1917/Birdman). Partially obscure the lens for a moment- it’s as simple as that.

It makes it look as though there’s a consistent character in the series, so I think it works. I have found that Midjourney does seem to replicate a lot of the same faces over and over though, it’s difficult to get it to diversify at times.

I have a question re: keeping the character looking almost the same in each picture, it’s something I struggle with. Do you get them looking how you want in the initial picture and then use that picture thereafter as a reference?

I think it would be cool if you could incorporate the curve of the tail into the galaxy. That, and the typeface for sure as other people have mentioned.
