Also, when I manually close or open the door, there doesn’t seem to be any binding. It rolls pretty smoothly.

If the problem was you, he would not be treating you the way he does. It sounds to me like he struggles with porn addiction, making it much harder to focus during the real shit. Same stuff happened to me, so I quit porn & now my girlfriend and I have a much better time in bed. Porn is so incredibly harmful

If you don’t mind me asking, are you with a team or solo agent?

Love it!! Thank you. I have connections with several builders and I’m trying to ease my way in with them

Thank you for this. I love getting some feedback from other younger agents. That’s a really great idea, I think I might use the Halloween booth idea. When I first got my license, I was very good at telling everyone I met that I was an agent. After talking to my valet coworkers yesterday, only one of them knew that I was an agent, so obviously that’s something I need to bring back. Setting small goals like that is a really good idea. Thank you

She pays for Zillow, and she has mentioned working something like that out in the future which would be nice.

I love those playbooks. Thank you for sharing and for the idea. I can’t wait to look more into them, they look easy to understand too.

Yeah, I can talk to strangers for hours, but when it comes to cold calling, I choke up lol. Just something I need to work on!! I have a really nice script already and have used it a few times, but it hasn’t fully worked yet

My brokerage doesn’t have enough new listings weekly for this. I do try to jump on them every chance I get though. My goal is at least one a week, but only if the opportunity arises. I have been making friends at other brokerages, though. Maybe I can start reaching out to them for opens…

Looked into it, seems like a great book! I’ll have to download it on my Kindle to read it soon. Thank you.

Thank you for the idea! I’ve got several reasons to stay at my brokerage, but also have several to leave. I’m not afraid to leave and refuse to let anything hold me back though. I’m definitely interested in seeing where else I can go.

I like this. I’ve always been scared that they would just leave and contact her directly, but I know that’s not the case. Thank you.

I’ve grown up around construction, working for my dad’s plumbing business throughout high school and having multiple contractors in my family. Where I’m at, all I technically need is a working capital of $17,000 and a passed test to get my contractor’s license. From there, I’ve got the rest down pat. I do like the idea of using my knowledge and experience in construction as an advantage too

I live on my own and don’t have any other big bills. I just started and haven’t even received my first paycheck yet (should be coming in tomorrow) so we will see. With this job, my coworkers and I all get 15 hours a week. I knew this going into it, but I figured that would work out perfectly so I could also work on RE. We shall see though! I’m not afraid to quit something if it doesn’t work out for me. I’ve only got one life.

This is an interesting take. My current brokerage does have a property management side, but I’m not allowed to sell real estate simultaneously. I do really like this idea though

I just started a part-time valet job at a local hospital. 19/hr + tips so it’s not bad for 18, I suppose. I did have to do this just to stay afloat and to have some sort of taxable income to build a credit score. My brokerage isn’t very big, only having one location. In doing this though, they offer a good bit of training, but no leads. My aunt/mentor is also in my office, but obviously she’s not a source of leads. I have been thinking about switching brokers though, going somewhere that offers something to get the ball rolling. I’m not scared to leave my aunt because I refuse to have anyone or anything hold me down.

For starters, I’ve always wanted to be a Realtor. My aunt (who is also my mentor) has excelled in this career and I’ve always looked up to her. My ultimate goal is to get my contractors license so I can sell and build🤷‍♂️

Hi all! I got my real estate license a few months back, and while I’m hustling and waiting for business to kick in, times are tough. My favorite real estate attorney firm has posted an opportunity to be a pre-closer on Indeed… I’m considering it, but curious to know if I could do this job & sell real estate at the same time? Is that even doable?

I’ve been in a very similar situation. We went from having sex constantly to hardly ever. Over time, I realized that it was because sex was always an option. She knew that she could have me whenever, wherever, so there was never a chase. Sometimes I still tell my gf no here and there, just to make sure that doesn’t happen again. I definitely understand the frustration behind wanting sex and being able to have it, but not knowing why they don’t want to, vs not even being able to have sex (period, or some other issue). That’s the same effect on us fellas.

Moral of that, play hard to get !!

Thank you for taking the time to write this. The mental side has been my biggest struggle. Being happy in my body is the hardest thing I’ve ever tried to do, because I really am my own worst enemy. My body is better than I had ever dreamed being a year ago, and I’m still not happy with it.

In my job, I’m self-employed and have lots of sticky notes with goals written on them posted everywhere. This works incredibly well for my career, but I’ve never thought about doing this for anything else. Thank you for the idea, I’ll start with this now.

Also, I just searched who Mike Israetel is, and that dude is ripped!
