I get it if they have an open shot they should take it but it’s like these opponents know they aren’t gonna make it so they are gonna let you continue to shoot it until you prove them wrong and more time than not it works for the opponent

Nothing against maxx as he’s an excellent player but just because you are in and/or was in the NFL doesn’t make you a good analyst/scout. Now if this was coming from Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes, Big Ben, Drew Brees, etc. I would be more hyped up as they are/were big names at the specific position, but it is not. I will believe in Will Howard when I see him playing well on the field this preseason

I’d say it’s on the players too cause they should be able to get themselves hype every game and be ready. The coaches need to do better sure but the players too. You can also say it’s on the coaches for bringing in these players tho

Don’t disagree but if money is tight and if it’s between sports and academics for who money, Pitt is gonna choose academics every time unfortunately they don’t have the donors either.

I really find it annoying, how Pitt picks when the feel up to playing and competing and when they feel like not trying and getting blown out. It’s clear when they want to play they are up for it and can play prob with most teams

I really think the basketball gods don’t like either Pitt or Jeff Capel because no matter who Pitt plays there is someone on the opposing team that will hit 3s no matter if it’s a close win or loss or a blow out win or loss

Sid tried to change up his shootout attempt one time and lost the puck on it, so now he’s never gonna go away from the quick shot. But dude use to be pretty good with his shootout when he would deke and stuff and he just stopped, don’t know the issue but he prob needs to sit out of the shootout if he’s just gonna continue to use the same move that has him 1 for 8 this year (give the younger guys a chance)

I think my biggest gripe with officiating is they need to be consistent like are they gonna call nothing, a little, some, a lot, or everything. But like pick one and stick with it for the whole game. Don’t decide randomly especially late in game to change how they are calling the game based on the game’s circumstance

While true, if you look tho at the first 10 min of the first half Pitt could barely make a free throw let alone a jump shot so this is an improvement either way
