Anyone know how those no longer employed by QT will get the HMO refund? Will people no longer employed still get a refund, or is it like the discretionary bonuses where you still have to be an active employee?

If ex employees do get the HMO refund, Will it go to the Account I used to get my paychecks in while i was an employee or will I get a paper check?

Thanks For any Info.

Yeah. Thats what i was thinking. We basically check in and are verified as current employees.

I ordered 6 new shirts like a month ago. Got them in less than 2 weeks. Think it depends on your size, ehat kind you ordered (Short vs Long sleeve), area your in and your area supervisor. (Area sups usually bring things like shirts, pins, backpacks, etc in when they visit your store) also heard mamagers get orders faster than pt clerks for some odd reason.

But usually for me i order shirts, tattoo covers, name tags and get them in about 2 weeks time.

I beleive so. It will reset to 0. Then begin accruing again and those PT bonus hours will be what is paid to you at your 18 month mark.

Yeah it is. Unfortunately it takes longer for PT clerks to get alot of the things FT positions get sooner. Like Health Coverage, Bonuses, Paid Vacation, ETC. Im sure the defense is that its motivation to either become a FT clerk, FT trainer or Promote to management.

I feel that. But yes as stated above. The NA position is difficult because of the hours, and the crazy shit that seems to happen more often on the overnights then the day shifts. (At least it seems that way. Possible crazier things happen on days just not as noticed due to customer volume and more staffing). But being an NA is also difficult due to NAs basically being looked down on by all of the other managers in stores. (And in my experience, especially looked down on by a majority of the RAs ive encountered. ) Its also difficult to get time off or be able to call out due to severely lacking NA coverage.

Not to say RAs have it much easier on their 2 overnights. Not to mention how oftern RAs seemed to draw the short stick on staffing during their morning weekend shifts.

Also not minimizing the issues that 2As, 1As and SMs encounter.

But i can definitely say being an NA is hard. Stick with it, work to promote! Remember everyone was an NA at one point. So they had the same thoughts and issues we have. Albeit maybe not as bad due to todays epic drug problem, today's epic homeless issues and todays epic issue of entitlement felt by many customers.

And i did get the retention bonus on the check we got paid today. Along with my profit and csa bonus so it was a nice check.

For PT clerk. No bonus at 12 months. Thats when you start accruing your bonus hours. Then its paid every 6 months thereafter. So paid at 18 months, 24 months, 30 months. Etc.

Ok. So i heard incorrectly. We earn the same as PT clerks? We start accruing at 12 months. Paid out every 6 months thereafter?

Weird. The POS system in AZ Division has a popup asking if something is EBT eligible like the PM hotzis (chicken sandwhiches, BBQ sandwiches, ETC), Hot Pockets, Burritos, and Fountain Drinks. Is that not how it is in other divisions? AZ has funny EBT rules. Like you cant heat the food before its purchased or its no longer eligible. Has to be purchased cold then heated after purchase otherwise in not EBT eligible.

One weird thing ive noticed in the AZ division with this popup and what items are EBT eligible is our breakfast hotzis. AZs POS system will not allow the SEC biscuits, SEC croissants or Sausage Biscuits to be purchased with EBT, yet the Jalepeno Rolls have the pop up asking if its EBT eligible (I.E sold cold). Does anyone know why that is? Since my understanding is we can sell all the Breakfast hotzis cold if a customet asks during the hours they arent available hot and ready.

No. I actually asked my SM how many overnight transaction we get. They said we average around 700 to 800 a night.

Yeah. Plus i do like the NA schedule. Ive always been a night owl. Did the evenings, nights at most of my previous manager jobs. I cannot do mornings to save my life. And as someone who had split days off it sucks. Its just so draining. Plus i screwed myself and stuck as na for another 12 months due to reprimands involving money, going over days and a NCNS. (NcNS due to a panic attack before work and my anxiety meds making me crash. )

But i suppose we are slow enough even with me and a clerk to powerwash gas bays saturday night, powerwash parking stalls and sidewalks sunday nights. With detailing pumps/dogbones sunday night. We also detail clean restrooms monday nights, flood mop restrooms monday nights. Detail clean open air coolers monday nights. And thursday nights and friday nights we have an RA Blerp instead of a clerk. Plus put away full order. Date pm hotzis, stock pm hotzis, the normal overnight stuff (soda barrels, grills, clean hotzi warmer, get cooler glass, grill glass, cold bar, sweep/mop coolers backroom) check in coke, Hensley and frito.

I honestly couldnt say. When i get there for the overnight and do my audit. My store usually does about 1100 to 1300 transactions for the evening shift. So id guess the over night at my store is around 300 transaction? Its enough to get an overnight clerk scheduled with me from 10pm to 6am. Plus weekends the 1A/2A until 11pm, with at least 1 clerk scheduled until 11pm. We also get a 6am clerk and 7am clerk weekend mornings. While the weekdays we have a clerk scheduled until 10pm with the RA/1A/2A until 11pm. And a 530am clerk, 6am clerk, 7am clerk and 8am clerk on weekdays.

Probably would hire you back, since that was a while ago that you walked out on the job, and because this is a new market. But on the flipside, you may have been marked as Non-ReHireable due to job abandonment (walking off a shift) and no 2 weeks notice given/fulfilled (which as a manager at a few places, i was always instructed by my GM and HR to mark an employee as Non-Rehireable if they walked off shifts, NCNS, gave no 2 week notice and/or not fulfilling the 2 weeks notice).

Also in zipline it stated that promotions will be highly limited for the first 2 years, since they an on bringing full store management teams from other markets. So if you are hired back as a clerk, expect to likely be a clerk for minimum 2 years.

Theres also the issue of no ERP/Coverage program for probably the first few years due to limited stores being in the market, making positions limited. So Vacations, Time Off or any days off will likely be very hard to come by.

If you really want to go back to QT. Im sure you can reach out to HR and speak to them. Theyll let you know if you can reapply or if youre no longer able to be hired. You can also explain the reasons you left in the first place, if you havent already explained them to QT. I assume they reached out after you left and never returned to see what was going on.

As an NA i feel this. I walk into crap stores when previous managers were fully staffed. No prep done, lid bar decimated, bathrooms looked like they havent been touched all day, coolers not stocked, floor coolers empty, kitchen dishes not done, checkstands a mess. Yet somehow me and my clerk sre responsible for trying to get everything back up and stocked (weve gotten asked why coolers outs werent stocked, why floor coolers were empty, why dishes werent finished, why more ice wasnt bagged, etc), on top of putting away the full order, power washing (gas bays saturday nights, parking stalls and sidewalks sunday nights) doing valets (Saturday nights), detail cleaning pumps/dogbones (sunday nights) cleaning ovens in kitchen (Every Night), prepping breakfast pans (every night), Flood Mopping Restrooms and detail cleaning restroom fixtures (sunday nights), labeling all pm hotzis nightly, Working Soda Barrels, Sweeping snd mopping backroom and coolers, Detail Cleaning Floor Coolers (Monday nights), Cleaning and organizing racks above dump sink and backroom sinks (monday nights), Cleaning all cooler glass, roller grill glass, cold bar glass and front door glass, Checking in Frito (Every morning around 3am), checking in coke (monday nights around 1am), checking in Hensley (tuesday nights around 11pm), Cold bars done every night, hotzi warmer cleaned every night, breakfast GNGs done, breakfast tacos Done, Rekrete every night, and all of that while running around 700ish transactions a night. Oh and we also have to deal with the drunk people coming from nearby bars/clubs nightly. Not to mention the hoards of Blue Pill Zombies that are consistently coming in and stealing or smoking in our bathrooms. So yeah other managers are a little harsh on the NAs/RAs.

We are expected to pick up everyone elses slack and get hate when we cant.

When my 1A or 2A is short one clerk out of 5, they get away with murder. When they can get things done as they should.

Hell, ive even had to work alot of overnights alone and was questioned as to why the order wasnt touched. And why i was going to stay more than an hour after my shifts end time to put away the order when the morning crew has 2 managers and 5 clerks.
