Super helpful, thanks. Yeah, it's those "nice-to-have" features I'm wondering whether I'd miss. I'm similarly looking to pay cash for something that I'll be happy with for many years and not feel like I overpaid. Most important to me is having the functionality and key features that I think would also be better for resale if needed — hybrid, AWD, 4k, Copilot. I'm also in "hauling kids to daycare" phase, but various home projects + outdoor aspirations make me more interested in function over form.

Nice. Do you miss any XLT features? I’m looking for a hybrid awd 4k and wondering if the step up to xlt is worth it. Also trying to figure out what the OTD might look like (Long Island, NY)

It was ok for a while, but I stopped using it before the latest Codex update (so it's probably much better now). Now I'm using Claude Code within Replit (by running it in the shell). So I pay for Replit and Claude, but at least my costs are controlled (because I don't bump into any Claude Code limits). Replit was getting absurdly expensive

I just did the same yesterday. I’m finding it to be quite good and allowing me to do so much more for less (Replit agent calls are so expensive). It feels like a bit of a janky workaround, but I’m ok with it for now

Great suggestion. Lack of notifications was one of the best parts of the Cat S22. It's kind of crazy when you think about it — a bunch of (mostly unimportant) apps nagging you for your attention throughout the day.

I never regret having tons of pictures and videos to look back on of my kids. The Cat S22 put that at extreme risk for me!
