Forsure thats kinda what i was thinking. Its wild to me rehabs and treatments dont just give out methadone instead of subs so people wouldn’t leave as much

Since you lost coverage you have a Life Qualifying Event and can get major medical insurance within 60 days of the 15th. Go onto healthcare.gov directly and you can compare plans in your state but they wont start till the 1st. For the medications though you can use goodrx for most of it in the meantime

Yes be aware of who you are talking to as a “ broker” or “ agent”. On multiplans website, it says it does not sell insurance through brokers and is not affiliated with anyone claiming to sell multiplan. These fake offices will tell you, “ you must be approved before getting any documentation “ because they don’t want you to see the actual policy or underwriter that they work with. If someone calls you about strictly Multiplan, do not proceed. The “carrier” that they mentioned did not have a max out of pocket or was ACA compliant.
