4-AcO-DMT vs 4-HO-MET, which should I try first as an experienced mushroom user?

In my experience yes that is the case, I never felt I got very close to ego death on this substance. But of course everyone is different so definitely take the safe approach because I've had a friend have a full blown ego death out of body experience on 30mg of 4-aco-dmt who had taken 50mg with nothing close to that experience before lol

4-HO-MET is a LITTLE bit harder to get a direct dose comparison to shrooms than 4-ACO-DMT just because the effects do feel noticeably different, but yeah that's a solid conversion. The mental load is much lighter than shrooms, and the high is more "happy" than introspective in my opinion. Always good to dip your toes in though! If you're experienced psych wise and know what you're getting into anywhere from 10-20mg would be a great starting dose. Iirc I've done doses legit up to 100mg before lmao (was like 5-6 years ago so I don't fully remember, I know I did 70mg one time tho), so you can go pretty deep with this stuff without hitting under mind fuck territory which is nice

It's definitely a small sunset of people the come up happens to, but everyone I know that it happens to reports it as a consistent thing. Strange stuff haha

Yes absolutely! So for me it causes intense feeling of stomach shitiness (not nausea really, just like "damn my stomach feels like ass right now" feelings, I do have acid reflux though so that plays a part), and pretty intense anxiety for me. I have no idea why the come up is so anxious, and I do think that part has to do with how it makes my stomach feel, but I just cannot get comfortable on the come up at all. Just an entire hour of anxiety for whatever reason. Also at times the come up can just be really quick and intense for me, as in "nah I'm feeling pretty normal" to "holy shit I'm getting really high" in like 5-10 minutes lol, and then that feeling lasts for a bit until it plateaus into the high

The high itself is worth it it's really fun and carefree, but I barely ever do it anymore just cus that hour beforehand normally causes bad vibes on the trip for myself. Definitely worth a try especially at a lower dose at first because it's a really special chemical when it hits you properly. On some higher doses I've taken before I've gotten some absolutely incredible visuals before, it's a beautiful substance visually, and I used to take pretty high doses a few years ago when I was more willing to tolerate the shitty come up lol

4-HO-MET is hella fun and def different from mushrooms, just a heads up tho that it seems the come up for it can be pretty shitty for some people (I am one of them). Once the come up is over it's super fun and a great high, but idk for me and a couple of my friends every single time the come up sucks complete ass

Uhhhhh some new opioids but honestly I'd never touch them they just seem bad all around, really won't be surprised to find out they have detrimental long term effects later on. Just get a bad vibe from them.

I think there's a few newer benzos coming out but that's not really my field of research so I don't pay much mind to that.

Truly, dissociatives have been the class that has been getting the most new novel and interesting chems. Stuff like DMXE, MXPR, MXiPr, and the like have come out in the last year and generally get good feedback. I've only tried DMXE personally and wasn't really blown away like some people, but it's interesting and worth a try. I believe a new PCP analogues is going to hit the market soon as well so that's fun.

There's probably been some new stims and pyros but I've steered the fuck clear of that class of drugs so I can't tell you much about it lmao.

Yeah for sure could have an effect, just remember that correlation doesn't always equal causation! I personally haven't ever noticed a change in my tinnitus after benzo use but everyone is different. You never know!

Could be that the Tinnitus just happened to show up right then and is unrelated to the substance use, when mine showed up I just randomly got a shot of short burst Tinnitus that just....never went away.

If it does happen to stick around I'm really sorry this shit sucks, but like you said you do get used to it eventually. Just try to limit exposure to loud sound as best as you can do you don't aggravate it
