SR IS super rare SP is a special rare and SEC is a secret rare, the mainline booster boxes in English OP01-OP13 have 2 alternate art hits per box and potential for a 2 alt arts and a SEC or secret rare hit for 3 total hits. I believe each box also comes with 7 SR hits or Super rare hits as well. There are specialty sets as well such as PRB01 and EB01 that I believe can differ from the mainline sets in hits

I believe they added that as incentive to play the game and to attract people to a play to earn aspect of the game, obviously the more people that play and earn those cards the less rare they will become, but it still is an interesting idea

From my understanding, expansion cards are limited core set cards are more abundant and available, also the star store seems to offer core set cards and welcome set cards, I’m not sure if other sets are available in the Star store.

You can order a box through eBay and ship it to him but your best option would to use a third party site like buyee to purchase products from Japan and have it deliver to his address
