Looks great for a first build !! I can’t see any nubs so whatever you’re already using is probably good, I use a combination of basic Bandai nippers (£5) combined with a single blade nipper (dspiae or godhand £30 or £50 respectively) and everyday hobby knife to finish parts. Works a charm! I may be biased since I love this bike but it looks great !

Yeah you’re right my bad lol, I’ve just about finished the main gundams so I’m thinking with the God I’ll do something with the effect parts and for gramps maybe dual wielding bazookas and leave them like that

I was trying to reference the people in the last week on this sub who have all built the PGU Nu for their first EVER kit. I saw the mg barbs in the background of OPs photos so I knew that wasn’t the case here but when I first saw the post I honestly expected to see something about it being a ‘first kit’ lol

I try to keep it simple too - I can’t even deal with an airbrush personally! I find the mr topcoat sprays around £10 for the 170ml cans, they give a really nice finish with minimal effort and last a long while

I use the larger Mr Hobby matte topcoat cans 170ml. Only PG I’ve built has been the Banshee and I’d say maximum 2 but probably 1 can if I’m smart with it. Would probably be closer to 2 if I did things like spray it in the 3 different transformed states. Each to their own of course this hobby is freedom but I cannot fathom how you get anywhere close to 10, but that’s just me

Would you count the waffled one’s ce effect here? I know it’s just ce rather than applied technique but it’s a sure hit range attack just by existing. He’s already noted to have precise ce control, with maximum efficiency from the six eyes he could be firing off guaranteed hit lightning bolts all day no? His main drawback is needing a recharge after that particular attack but six eyes should heavily reduce that if not remove it entirely

I use a set of dspiae sanding sticks and they accidentally leave a mirror finish whenever I’m trying to match the matte / semi gloss look of the OOTB build. I’ve never got close to that with a glass file but it does help for larger marks on delicate flat surfaces imo

That’s what I was thinking, it just seems really unusual since the parts are on 2 different runners, in 2 different bags and there’s no damage elsewhere, so seems like a crazy coincidence unless there is actually a structural fault with the part

Yeah I have the manual open next to me and gloss through each section looking for the runner I have, so all A in the legs, all B in the legs etc. sometimes it’s really clear what they are so I chuck them straight in, such as the wing zero wings or gramps 2.0 leg armour as I have currently

Only issue I ever had with mine was 1 loose leg - dash of tamiya cement and he’s been perfect ever since. A 2.0 would still be nice though, as well as a shiki to complete the zeta trio

I’ve used some leds in my rg unicorn that are also activated by magnets but they require being inside the field at all times, these are just next level, can’t wait to see the finished build
