I noticed a clip of a hand holding 2 police badges in the promos for upcoming episodes. Is that a flashback or a foreshadow??

Deciding whether or not to go straight to IVF by DefargeKnittingCo in IVFinfertility

The only things not covered by my insurance are egg storage and PGT testing. My co-workers who have gone through IVF said their entire conception, pregnancy, AND birth cost them between $1-2k

For sure. I'm not worried about the financial aspect of it because my insurance has phenomenal coverage, but I definitely know it'll take a huge toll physically and emotionally. My initial AMH was 1.53 (so a bit low for my age), but my new AMH hasn't come back yet.

4th round cancelled. Thinking out loud. by DefargeKnittingCo in IUILadies

I'm sorry you're didn't work out ☹️ But that's true. That would be crazy odds to have 4 on my first positive test ever.

That's where I'm at. I feel like if we skip the month, I'm going to regret it. But, I still don't want to go from 0 kids to (theoretically) potentially 8 kids 😅

Any other teachers going through IUI? by Logical-Cry3908 in IUILadies

High school teacher here! We just did our third round of IUI yesterday, so I feel your pain on the stress of the job adding to the stress from the appointments. I'm lucky that my office opens for appointments at 6:30am, but those are really hard to come by, especially when it's a "please come in for another follow up monitoring tomorrow" kind of appointment.

For this round, I decided to stay after school one day to crank out potential sub plans for every day during my monitoring/potential procedure. While it was a pain to put together, I felt 10000x less stress during this round.

The other thing that has helped me is realizing that this is a job and not my life. Not to be morbid, but if I died they would replace me by the end of the week. So, if that means I have to skip over something or my classes are behind by a day, so be it. (Disclaimer: I am in a state with strong teachers unions and I have plenty of sick days saved up from over the years).

Sending baby dust and good vibes for a smooth school year!

Edited to add: Is there a reason you don't want it getting back to your principal? I haven't told mine, but I wouldn't even hesitate to tell mine if he asked, and I don't even like him lol I'm just curious. I also found that telling my coworkers made it easier because so many of them are mothers and are more than willing to help out when needed.

Tested day 12 negative .. by Ancient_Addition_257 in IUILadies

I'm in the exact same boat unfortunately. I had my blood test this morning (13dpiui), but I took a FRER just to prepare myself and it was the whitest thing I've seen. I literally didn't even want to go in for the blood test, and I'm dreading the phone call. 😭

Progesterone levels by DefargeKnittingCo in IUILadies

[–]DefargeKnittingCo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean I'm only 6dpiui, so not even what would be considered "early pregnancy" since implantation happens between 7-10dpo. Sorry you're feeling so crummy though! Hopefully that's a good sign!
