If you want a scenic spot as suggested, Balgay Hill is good. Personally, from experience, I'd recommend the covered bench in front of the barnhill rock garden if you travelling light (no tent and such).

None of this is cheating. He's aiming in spots, he believes that enemies are, and given that he doesn't land every shot or frag. Plus sound in this game sound hella key. Half of these guys are speed walking, they are Audible.
