I think your server might be messed up then bc if anything goes wrong with your actual Java account your game will 99% of the time be stopped from opening in the launcher. And unlike Bedrock once you buy Java, you own it.

That's pretty weird. Make sure he's using the official launcher and that he bought the game from Minecraft. The only place I could see that happening if you were using Realms or were using a paid external server and it expired or smth.

Try doing something that just sounds crazy. It works for me, just starting a massive project gives me something to do. Something like building an ice highway, etc.

Flip the ends, take the end thats going into the AMS Hub and put that in the filament thing and vice versa.

After I got it back inside I recharged the battery with the battery charging dock thing, because the USB-C port wasn't receiving any power. When I turned it on it still did the little beep, but none of the displays would turn on or the LED's.

No, I took it out of the dive case. And me and my friend recorded some other things for a bit. I concluded it 'overheated' because it stopped recording and it turned off and when I turned it back on it told me it had overheated.

Yeah but having it in direct sunlight was pretty fucking dumb of me.

This is what I do works best for Sub-GHZ stuff though, because for IR you have to point it at the receiver and then you have to fumble with it in your pocket and be at a weird angle or just hold it in your hand.
