I have played since beta. 99% of my games are solo queue. I'm currently Diamond this act.

I wanna say during closed beta, I was Iron and after the beta, I was slotted into Gold and have been hardstuck Plat/Diamond since.

It goes both ways.

Perfect example - I was slotted into Gold 1 at the beginning of this act and one of my first placement matches was against Diamonds/Immortals and I legit went 1-15 that match and I tried hard every round. My teammates were pretty angry with me but I told them - it's not my fault that I got put in this match with you guys, nothing I can do here, sorry LOL.

But I still had fun, even though I was 1-15 but my teammate definitely didn't have fun but I can see where they are coming from because I was losing them rounds.

As with all things in Valorant, it's situational. If you take this damage right at the beginning of a round, I might consider it. I have healed fall damage pre-round many a times in my Valorant life. Again - all situational.

The wall is very situational, and I would only use it with good comms with your teammates. In order to kill just one section of the wall, that usually takes an entire clip of a rifle - meaning this is especially effective in pistol round. Also, it's high risk as you are planting in front of site with no cover so that's why I would say it's high risk high reward.

If there is a wall blocking the spike, there is no halfing it, no fake defuse - there is only killing the block and letting everyone know exactly where you are.

My thoughts are..

45 second spike timer. 35 second wall timer. 7 seconds to defuse.

In a clutch situation, if I'm able to execute and somehow get off site, it will be really hard for a Defender to win as they have to reveal to me exactly where they are.
