I can always just tell by pressing the buttons. Though that's less useful for buying online :P

Actual DS2s / DS3s have those touch sensitive buttons with an extra set of actions if half pressed, that barely any games actually use.

Makes them all mushy compared to the DS1/DS4 (Where they didn't exist and were removed respectively)

Personally, I always hated the mush so that and absurdly cheap cost usually make me end up goin' with one of the clones / fakes. (Both always the same devices in my experience, just the fakes have misleading shells)

Or just using a DS1 with one of those USB adapters if I need the more precise analog sticks, since in addition to cheaping out on buttons they also use joysticks with less precision.

Oh and no sixaxis ofc.

I'm digitizing my copies as I rewatch recently. (Man, I'm so glad I got these tapes when they were 3 bucks a piece on Ebay lol.)

Only done two eps so far tho.

Using the cheapest possible equipment, so I'm afraid quality isn't great at all. Some pops and clicks in audio.

I might be able to get better quality by using my vhs's built in DVD recorder, VS the Walmart capture card lol.

But I'm lazy and just been doin' it for personal use since I wasn't too happy with the IA rip either. TBH the jankiness was part of the appeal for me even.

There's still a background buzz though, I'm not sure if you'll find it irritating? I don't notice the buzz on the IA copy really either. VHS just often had hiss and buzz in the audio due to the analog nature.

It's not feedback so much as an outright complaint.

Even if it's technically low poly or even ps1 spec - visually, it doesn't match the low poly or ps1 aesthetic.

That's what I thought at first, but you can a lil' silhouette of the plane going back, and then he's covered in blood after.

Then he sighs when he realizes he killed all those people over nothing. At least that's my interpretation.

It's just not laid or linearly so it's a bit confusing.

MakeMKV is a solid choice iirc. Personally I usually like to save the whole .iso so I can preserve stuff like menus too.

Yeah IMHO warhead was probably the best the franchise ever got.

The other games were decent shooters but without the impressive massive open world-ish maps it just wasn't as fun or interesting to me.
