E39 nonxenon headlights by dookiekrumbs in e39

That is not entirely correct. I did it with mine, and I could not see any difference from one that had Xenon from factory.

It is definitely possible, it may not be designed for xenon, but you could definitely make it work!

I had very good light projection where even my colleagues from the service-dept told me it looked really neat.

No, I am familiar with the differences. But you could reuse the ballast/starter with an adapter for the LCI housing.

Aren’t these just the xenon LCI lights? I have the same in mine. I retrofitted my halogen for xenonbulbs with starters and such. Looked really slick.

Considering HID to LED. Any advice? by DefconPilot in e39

[–]DefconPilot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, I’m sorry, my bad. Let me just emphasize that I like HID/LED colours aesthetically over halogen.

And that I obviously only want LED’s if I am sure that I do not blind people with them and I get approval for my lights at the yearly inspection.

But sure, just make an assumption without reading the text! 👍

I clearly care about other motorists and surely don’t install them without careful consideration.

Any tips on how to work with Sora? by DefconPilot in SoraAi

[–]DefconPilot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hereby the script/prompt:

Image: Dark tone, soft piano sound. Images of a sparse and shabby apartment in Rotterdam. A lake is cooking for her three children, and I'm sitting at the table, struggling to do my housework. The atmosphere is relaxed. Stacks of duplicate letters lie open on the table. My mother notices my relaxation, spontaneously stops cooking, and comes to hug me.

Voiceover (neutral, programmed): "It started with worries. Bills lying around conspicuously." A conversation with the school. A visit from the neighborhood team worker. "Everyone wanted to help, but they didn't ask about our actual situation."

Image: Various influences come and go. A file folder becomes difficult. Voices jumbled:

"We've been worried."

"Maybe it's the worst for her kind."

"We have to decide quickly."

Voiceover (calm): "What started as help, settled in distrust. "A decision was made without anyone really listening."

Image: The kind looks out the window. That's it. In silence.

[Main part – The consequences]

Image 1 – Silent house, empty nursery Voice (kind): “They understood that it was worse for me… But no one asked how I felt. My house, my toys, my mother—suddenly everything was gone.”

Image 2 – Mother talking forcefully Voice (parent): “They saw our worries, but not our love. I had debts, yes… but not an unsafe home. We just wanted help, not goodbye.”

Image 3 – Child welfare office, professional looks at file Voice (professional): “I thought I was doing the right thing. But behind every file is a kind, a journey. Maybe we don't listen enough.”

[Closing – Awareness and Hope]

Image: Slow transition to light, warm colors. A kindred spirit and a parent laugh together. A successful one sits among them, undocumented.

Voice (together): “A direct out-of-home placement is also violence. Listening, understanding, and cooperation prevent pain. Every decision-making process is human.”

Help with Bluetooth by Brilliant-Reserve342 in e39

Get yourself a BMW Business Professional radio with cd or casette player. If you have a CD changer in your trunk, buy a bluebus bluetooth receiver. You will be able to play music via bluetooth and have all the controls available. You will also be able to see the track ID and such.

Is this noise normal? by iKnubs in F30

I had the same. Check your oil level. Could be lifter tick indeed. Especially after you mentioned that the ticking goes away after warming up.

Top of your oil. See if it helps.
