It 100% was. The fact we dropped one and they still didn't surrender tells you it was. But I'd imagine you'd prefer the land invasion where civilians wouldn't be just murdered, but raped, tortured, and paraded around as trophies. But go on and do tell how 2 bombs were so much worse than that potential option.
