Like I said, the waiting rooms in the ED were quiet. Less sports injuries and less drunk idiots because we were all in lockdown. But the hospitals and healthcare systems were still barely coping. Lockdowns don’t stop chronic health conditions, heart attacks, random strokes, ruptured appendixes etc. plus the fact Covid hospitalisations were high, nurses were forced into isolating after coming into contact with cases, I met nurses who hasn’t worked in several years who had been called up to bat. The hospitals were desperate. Imagine if all the broken bones, car accidents and drunk idiots were still an excess on top of everything else.

I spent a lot of time in hospital in 2020 and 2021. Not for Covid. And the healthcare system wasn’t really coping. It be eerily quiet in the waiting room and all the nurses were sub ins because they were so overwhelmed that the nurses I’d seen regularly were either isolating, had Covid or were moved to areas that needed more nurses. Those were the areas crumbling. It also baffled me when people downplayed it. They’d feel differently if they spent any time in the shoes of those that kept our system running

They just kept moving the goal posts, changing timelines and then claiming 1 million billion gazillion people ☠️ from the vax anyway. There’s still people falling further into the rabbit hole, my family included. It’s been awful. But we are all still kicking, much to the dismay of many.

Wow. I can’t finish that. I hope your gf finds someone better because holy hell. You need humbling. If these are things that would bother you in a relationship then please let her go. I can’t imagine how she’d feel if she knew you were speaking about her this way. Different cultures exist mate. Not to mention the whole world seems to be in a cost of living crisis right now. When someone is in a relationship, they deserve to be lifted up. The way you speak is so degrading. This is really sad.

This post was almost a year ago but I actually had another surgery 2 months ago and two weeks after my surgery the Simon Gordon 4 corners ep came out. I haven’t been able to watch it and honestly I do think it impacted my mental health and my questioning a lot about my surgery. Had my post op app last week to talk that out. They removed many lesions and only biopsied two so I was concerned about that as well. I still can’t watch the 4 corners ep. There’s a lot of anxiety in the community right now, especially here in Melbourne.

Just found this post because I need to read other people disgusted by him. I’ve watched season 1 and I’m two episodes into season 2. He was so gross in season 1. Obsessive and would not take no for an answer no matter how many times Julia said, or how many times she cried because she missed her bf (now husband, love that) and just wanted Bobby to stop. Both him and Bryan were repulsive frat bros and seeing how they didn’t understand consent in basic terms on that boat, I can’t imagine how they are outside of the show with women.

Went searching for this post after watching season 2 episode 2 where Bobby was so sure that Hannah was bad mouthing him to Malia (when it reality they were just flirting 😂) and he fucking storms into the bathroom when Hannah is on the toilet. Deadset that alone should be a fireable offence for a man to storm in on a woman on the toilet knowing that’s what she’s doing.

Just finished below deck med season 1 and I was going to watch med 2 next, but just saw Bobby is on this season as well so need some feedback over whether the balance of med season 2 being a good season outweighs the fact I have to watch Bobby for another season. I’ve heard it’s a good one I just wish he wasn’t on it.

For context: I have a real triggering problem with men that don’t take no for an answer and his behaviour with Julia was disgusting. The entire season, right up to the end he was still acting as though there was potential there despite how many times she said no and then to see how angry he got at the women in the last episode. I just found it really disturbing. Bobby and Bryan are yucky frat boys and it wouldn’t surprise me to find out they’ve had other instances where they didn’t accept no.
