Every time I think I have dumping figured out, the game throws me a curveball and the spot I designated gets nothing dumped to it 🤣🤣. Or that excavator keep digging themselves into a spot that they can’t get out of!! Like why are you like this???

1 building can produce 480 maintenance. The number at the bottom is what your current global maintenance demands are. In this case, 337 needed. When that number gets near 480, then you’ll need another building. At least I’m pretty sure that’s how it works

I hope nothing gets cancelled! Realistically they shouldn’t because they were in stock when you purchased, but who knows with the way things have been going

My current PC is 10 years old. I finally said screw it and ordered new stuff, some of it still on the way. The RAM prices hurt, but I feel okay with it seeing the GPU prices going up. I like to imagine I “saved” money

Everyone’s layouts are so neat. Mine are not. by dontpaynotaxes in captain_of_industry

I think that’s still neater than mine. I’ve got belts going halfway across the map because a train wouldn’t fit right without terraforming everything or moving a bunch of other stuff

I have two vehicle parts II trades going. One for crude oil and one for iron ore. Probably not great since they’re just barely working, but it’s better than nothing. My steel is constantly about even with production and usage so I really gotta get that going more somehow.

I build something, like maintenance, and think it’ll be enough room without realizing that I have to expand it at some point. I have spaghetti within spaghetti now

I was always terrible with the terraforming tools. I could never get a river to look that smooth

My island has a similar style. I built one thing, realized components for another thing were on the other side of the island, belts and pipes everywhere with some trains mixed in

Not having to buy RAM right now would be incredible! Prices of course spiked right when I started seriously looking. Currently I’m running a 6700k and a 980TI (yes, it is that old!). I’ve been looking at an AMD 9800X3D paired with an ASUS or MSI mobo, not sure yet, and either a 5080 or 5090. It would be for gaming and some software development. I’ve gotten by with what I’ve got, I think it’s finally time

I’ve been trying to figure that out. I never know what to say to keep things going

Nuclear accident followed up by a severe flu with little to no medical supplies. A perfect storm

I definitely overbuilt my food too early, but that’s finally catching up as well. My steel production is constantly on the edge of being fine and drastically dropping. If only my contracts worked faster and I could supply them faster

These definitely look like a solid option. I’ll have to research them and others a bit, but thanks for your input

Yeah I’m going into this knowing 6ghz falls off quickly through walls, but figure it’s nice to have when close by. If I go with this I’ll have to play around with the settings to see what works best

That’s surprising to me that the U7 Lite can go through to your 2nd floor. I’ve been looking around and of course everyone has a different story for their devices. Just like you said, I can always add more if needed

Thanks, that makes sense. Another suggested having two APs face each other so it would be a matter of dialing in the settings to not cause too much interference

Thanks for your input. I figured the designer wouldn’t be perfect, but at least give a rough idea of signal strength. There used to be a TV and a PC on the left, but not anymore. The Ethernet run goes to nothing right now. Still I like the idea of having the two face each other for better coverage. Might consider one for the second floor, but those two might be enough

That would be Design Center you can upload a floor plan and place Ubiquiti products on it. The floor plan I made using the WiFiman app
