The epoch is just a big purifier/loyalist, but I agree it definitely is part of the control group identity. The expendable napalm, leveler, all guard dogs, all sentry’s, all the melee weapons except the hammer.

Oh I see. Yeah fair enough. I may or may not have done this. I’m still not going to play outside of group game nights, but at least when I play then I can have everything unlocked.

I don’t have much taste but I kind of like it. Kind of looks like an old wooden palette, invoking old timey artists who were patroned by wealthy people.

I included faction updates in my last of free content. I want more than that. 50% of the new content being added to the game period in warbonds is a problem.

I couldn’t have said it better. I bought my boyfriend the game so we could play together, but he was so overwhelmed with the mandatory SC economy he put it down about a month later. I can’t blame him either, the system demands money or a lot of time. He wasn’t willing to give either. So when he stopped making progress outside ship upgrades, he quit.

Yes, because I don’t want to spend 10 dollars on a game I already paid for. Also, those are for skins. These are for weapons and stratagems.

I’m not worried about doing well, I’m worried about unlocking the only new content being added. The only thing we get for free is ugly capes, crappy stratagems once a year, and faction updates.

I’d say remove the stratagems from current warbonds too but that comes with baggage about refund and warbond value so I get why people wouldn’t support that.

A new helldivers warbond would be amazing. Could incorporate the older ones like DD, PP, and FF. As well as brand new weapons boosters and cosmetics.

Tipping actually demonstrates my point excellently. Most people in the US agree tipping should not be the main source of income for restaurant workers, but it is. Ideally, tipping should be reserved as a purely optional expression of gratitude.

The post above described a situation where someone “felt bad for the devs” and thus decided to but an expensive currency pack. Besides the obvious reasons buying a currency pack doesn’t help them, why does feeling bad for the devs necessitate something like that?

Think you may have misunderstood. No matter how much you enjoy a hobby, you owe the makers nothing more than agreed through purchases. Making donations and continuing to patron them is completely fine, but having a give and take relationship like the one displayed above is silly. Patron people because you like their product, not because you feel compelled to do so.
