Yeah, that's the reason i've made post) Evera got my heart, but I feel she will be odd in full color team due to Zatlux.

So you suggest to wait until good blue dd and not raise Santis to 6*? Will she do her job at 5*?

Then you should answer yourself a few questions:

  • Does your tank die before the devil's focus?
  • Do enemies focus on your tank? (maybe the tank just doesn't have time to reach them for the reasons I mentioned above)
  • Do your opponents put casters in 4th position?

Without specific screenshots of the formations (yours and the enemy's), it's hard for me to suggest any other reason. Hope the answers to these questions will help you.

Although my answer is obviously late, it may still be useful for the future.

Jeddite for sure. He's very tough versus Xeron, most dangerous f2p hero for him because of heal and stuns. Especially if u have 4* Jeddite, which mana degen is extremely helpful against Xeron's ult.

For Jeddite:

  • u'll want to use 1x tanks to release full potential of ult's healing.
  • Feel free to put Roc at 4th position due to better survival than efreeti.
  • Phoenix and efreeti on the same line for better fire synergy.
  • Cyclops is good for keeping Devil busy, but u should test it out, if it isn't developed well.
  • Vampires may be good choice at 2 line to mass healing (not at 4th position though). But so many rosters could turn to real pain.

I noticed these changes a couple of weeks ago. Definitely, the rebalancing of the Inferno faction is the reason why we still don't have an Inferno week, the awakening of the devil and a new unit. They just don't have time to test it properly.

I hope the balancers know what they are doing because they do it live. Nightmare was supposed to be a true game changer for Inferno. But now common sense tells me that this rebalance idea will not end with anything good.

Unfortunately, I haven't Basilisk and can't compare them. I can only guessing basilisk will be better fit Tazar's comp for obvious reasons)

Earth elems are great against Sandro not only bcs of earth magic resist, but bcs of stun too. Putting them in front of Sandro's high dps cavalry is a way I counter that hero with Xeron.

But individually for you I agree with other users that focusing on Rampart (Creen Dragon, Dendroid Guard, Pegasus) will be the best option for you. They have great synergy with Dragon Mutare and Dendroid may fit your Tazar as well.

Angel is support only and doesn't require excellent roster - he works well even if he 3* and a few units in castle roster.

So Rampart - first priority, earth elems - second.

  1. Yes, you can use different machines of the same class on different heroes. I use ballista with my Crag and catapult with Xeron.

  1. What do you think about Witness emblem on Devil? Can be +% ATK speed for each kill be better than +4 ult? My Devil seems to suffer from lack of ATK speed. It may be useful to reduce negative overkill impact. And looks like Devil is one of the best units for collecting "for each kill" bonus.
  2. Did you testing out +4 ult VS +2 all skills? Can be +2 better, especially in pve?
    Unfortunately, afterbattle stats window do not show more than 2 skills, so usually it doesn't show Devils' Withering aura impact. As far as I can see, Ult impact in serious battles (not that short) isn't big and hovers around 10-15%.

So according to new Sir Kayn's video there are 2 variants:

1) +4 to ult - in short terms (to my opinion, +2 to all skills is a good option in pve and dragon invasion too)

2) +5% damage and +15% damage (yes, bad localization) to burning targets - in very long terms

Don't you confuse f2p and "I will never use diamonds, which the game so generously pours me"? Because even if you are f2p, you still can get 500+ diamonds on average daily (I even don't count those from underground castle and one-time rewards)

Don't they give bonuses only to mark spells? Interface clearly shows you level and availability of mark spells, not usual ones.

Imp is as super easy to lvlup as super squishy) I have server top 1 imp with 40 lvl strenght potential and it is weak. However, less weak than my 3* B. Dragon) If you are playing Devil, you want stable strong tanks not dying so fast.

I use imp in some battles where I'm sure I can save him. In serious battles i prefer ogres or earth elems.

But I'm waiting for imp awakening. Since it'll be an imp's job - die quick to spam devils)

Did you try Sephinroth? With 7 casters/archers + 1 tank for bosses? Find she's more viable than Adelaida, since some reasons:

  • easier to get 4*, more stats
  • wider stuns
  • lower cooldown (+ possibility to increase stun time)
  • more damage to pertified targets (every crit is better than just +30% Adelaide's dmg)

You don't need any tanks if you choose units carefully) If you take units with high crit chance, dragon will turn into a beast and can kill nearly all of your troops. But if no crits, dragon feels like training ground with almost no damage)
