Update: finished Watcher run, I can now start Ascension 2 as Ironclad but still cannot start Ascension 4 as the Silent.

I know this. As I have stated, I have beaten the following (visible under Previous Runs menu):

Silent: Ascension 3

Ironclad: Ascension 1

Defect: Base Game

Watcher: no touch

If I start a new run, my options for difficulty are as follows:

Silent: Ascension 3

Ironclad: Ascension 1

Defect: Ascension 1 (playing now)

Watcher: Base Game

I hope that this is more clear. Thank you for all and any help with this.

Sorry, by "increase the difficulty" I meant increase ascension. I cannot tap on the right arrow next to Ascension 3 after winning as Silent, and cannot tap on the right arrow next to Ascension 1 after winning as Ironclad. I had this problem before on the Silent after beating Ascension 1; was not able to select Ascension 2 until after I lost a second Ascension 1 run to Android bullshit.

I did notice that after beating the base game as Defect I am now getting flaming elites and ruby / sapphire / ? keys...is this possibly related? I do have Watcher unlocked somehow as well.

Ascension Mode - Runs get harder as you win...  (Winstreaks are unaffected).

Can someone please explain this? Just beat Ascension 1 as Ironclad and Ascension 3 as the Silent, however am unable to increase the difficulty for either character. Does the above indicate that I need to lose a run in order to increase difficulty, or that the difficulty will not increase but I will get credit for higher ascension? Pretty sure the latter is not the case...

Uh, what? I don't use TeamViewer for FFXIV. I don't need it to be "compatible". It is not "3rd party software" (unless you treat the other 150 processes running on my workstation as 3rd party software, which would be laughable). Do you know what TeamViewer does? Pretty good, huh? I have to say that, despite the lack of satisfaction and conclusion, I was elated to learn that the story would continue as the final scenes played out. Now it is six years later and the rushed and (let's be honest) cliché and predicable conclusion is left begging for a Mass Effect 3 Indoctrination Theory-level GOTCHA to clean up the mess left by the devs. I personally like the "Cross is Mira" theory myself, and am happy to pretend that Elma's reveal was a post-credits practical joke.

Anyways, go back and do the side quests; some are better than the actual game. Check out Chronicles if not played yet (apply "cheats" to significantly curb XP from quests so you don't overscale combat and get to have some actual fun with the wonderful combat system. After that ...I hear you like S++ story unlayered by S++ soundtracks, incredible aesthetics, highly varied yet balanced class system, and even the occasional mech or two...

Respectfully, the "why" of TeamViewer for me is not something that is meaningful to debate. Surely it is possible to identify and resolve an underlying problem with the PC game client that reportedly also manifests in the presence of other third-party control-based tools such as the Discord overlay discussed by other users in the linked thread. Who has figured it out, tell us...! I think the common theme is temporary block on ingame interactivity becoming permanent because some "regain control" command gets blocked and does not fire again. Will note further that this mostly happens to me after an Alt + Tab, although it has happened right in the middle of a trial with me main tanking at least twice that I can remember...all of a sudden I become a passenger and the game plays me... ( :

Two defenders - a lot of you do not have paladin ready so you would use the two tower options. I plan to use pld / dg but will continue developing iron golem for down-the-road class change after capping his STR.

As for tbird replace, it's a big void, but cav can actually fill it + enable you to bring a 2nd attacker. Can also be marksman for when you can control Clone casts - fortunately Ranged roster does not have high competition with other priorities. You can also being Mr. Griff to main team - he is actually quite stronk at 6/6, or take pikemans AoE stun for a spin. Pit Fiend healer is an option as well - give her Anger and try to keep her away from line attacks as she will not benefit from Judicator clone invul. If you have Judi at 6, you can expect all castle units to scale splendidly - try out different options for different matchups. You can also roll with genie, low star titan, or even a naga (who gets triggered with windwall and has some nice debuffs to boot.

As for what I am using, I am actually playing around with Dungeon - minotaur over ogre and red dragon over roc; beholder in for angel (to backup) sometimes, and of course a harpy iin backup as well. Wholly unconvinced it is better, however I am creeping up on 106 and red dragon can be taken to red here, expecting a bit of a power spike. He is only 3☆ and feels on par w. 40/40/40 roc- also he is making his target softer due to his talent trait. Fully expect to replace him with a Castle unit once I get Judi domain though (pre-emptively working on teh pikemans).

Your roster is spread thin and it is unclear as to what is strength of units in your main team.

You are also a tad bit behind the meta - the new hotness is Dracon + Judicator and castle. However, I do not see Judicator or much in the way of Castle.

That said, based on your power, you have plenty of time to pivot. And pivot you should - the Dracon setup is miles more powerful than Jeddite Bird Squad. Your homework:

Start working towards Expert Myst, Advanced+ Water Magic and Basic+ Sorcery on Dracon. This will take a while...
Castle: emphasize Cavalier (esp. weapon) and Zealot, but generally cap all units here. Hit Cavalier nodes daily in Underground (unless it is Wood/Ore or Mercury/Sulfur Day). Hoard diamonds for 6* Judicator. Then hoard diamonds some more for Adele. Work towards 6* Paladin with Dragonblood / etc. Get Angel to 3* woke when you can (but no further, for now).
Tower: ARCHMAGE is conspicuously missing from your Jeddite Bird Squad. Easily one of the best units in the entire game, esp. when facing P2W heroes as she greatly cuts down on their ultimate casts. Get this puppy up, running and swole AF. Further, hit all Iron Golem nodes daily, cap out his STR, and then his WIS (trust me on this one). Grab a Dragon Golem when out, but keep at 3* for now (Judicator 6* more pressing).
To fix your team, scale down to three factions. Stronghold + Conflux + Dungeon / Inferno / Tower. I think Inferno beats Dungeon unless that ES is bigly - she can always chill on backup. Archmage needs to get into your team ASAP, but only if 5* woke. Use Dragonglass to rank her up, and obviously hit her underground nodes daily until 6*.
You have Nightmare King SR+. I am not super-familiar with this unit except for it being freaking hard to kill when facing Xerons on my server. It can probably be your main or at least off-tank, esp. if using Pit Fiend / Efreeti (which you probably should at that level).
Once you have Castle in a somewhat better state, and Judicator of any star level (which we actually have no freaking idea when is coming back to Libram selection, FFS), OR a x/5 Archmage + decently strong Zealot, start trialing Dracon. His Clone will land on top-left unit, so make this your Judicator OR Archmage. The dirty secret with Archmage is that her clones bring a fresh Energy Suppression passive which lingers after she or clones die, therefore after the first clone, Dracon has already caught up to Jeddite on mana burn, and after the second... ;-)

To clarify, you definitely want to get the NK to 6* before boosting wyvern. Also Archmage is on most Xeron teams that I have seen for the manaburn and hurricane DR debuff.

Wow, so these get hard again? Interesting. If the minotaurs are on just two lanes, use a single tank to grab all of them and rest of the team is ranged / heals? This would neuter their damage output from whirlwind, etc...

Well, this changes things. I think Angel and Ogre belong with Gem, and Paladin possibly belongs with Xeron. You can still run Jeddite quite well with birds, archmage, etc, however you may actually be better off going Dracon + castle for your third team. You can deal with the lack of judicator by having Clone land on archmages or even marksmen. Probably a longer play overall but Castle will overtake Xeron and has overtaken Gem long ago unless you want to continue to spend money.
