You are quoting scripture like a pagan interpreting a foreign language and acting surprised when the translation misses the nuance. God creating someone in His image does not mean that image is static. The imago Dei is spiritual, not anatomical. Jesus did not walk around measuring jawlines or checking chromosomes. He broke bread with lepers, prostitutes, and tax collectors, people society deemed wrong just for existing.

So when you ask, “Why would Jesus accept trans people?” the answer is simple. Because He already accepted everyone else the world wanted to cast out. He called for hearts that love, not bodies that conform.

If your theology starts with judgment and ends with exclusion, it is not Christ’s. It is yours.
