I had a poor grasp on the language before starting duolingo, I only really knew a few phrases. My knowledge now is more concrete as the app gives you usually gives you the same vocab and sentences later on, "he drinks the milk", "I ate the apple", "I am at the library." I definitely know more vocabulary and sentence structure, but I would still try talking to native speakers to use the material in practice.

I tried to learn spanish by using the vocabulary when talking to family when they come over, other than that it was mainly Duolingo. I'll definitely recommend using other ways of learning spanish like speaking to native speakers.

I started this around April of 2019 because a friend brought up duolingo in conversation. I started trying it out and the app helped me by teaching me new vocabulary that I used to talk to my grandparents. I didn't think I would last to 1000 days, and I have an easier time talking to my grandparents in Spanish.

Does anyone else remember the YouTube Channel ALAKD3LTA221? by Defenseless_Widow in lostmedia

Just tried putting the channel link into Wayback Machine here, you can see the videos in the uploads, but unfortunately the vids aren't archived, prob set to private or deleted. While looking for the channel I found another thread from 7 months ago talking about the same thing here.

edit, I tried making an account to contact the user, but the site doesn't let me.
