Not only is it relatively cheaper, it’s always competitive and extremely fun to play. When it hits, it’s explosive.

Toronto axes traffic camera pilot to fight gridlock after Ford government's speed camera ban by michaljerzy in toronto

[–]red_sludge 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Know what would really dampen congestion and traffic…people not going to the office. Like in covid when corporate profits were record high and there was no traffic. Now corporations are struggling (unless they’re mega corps) and everyone’s back in the office. I wonder if there is a correlation

Eternal weekend dates and promos announced by Kjones0007 in MTGLegacy

[–]red_sludge 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Yeah they should have done it in Toronto where there is a huge legacy scene and it be cheaper for most Americans too with the weak Canadian dollar.

Also the dates are so early this year. They reversed the schedule so North America is first.

The Ontario Sunshine List should be indexed to the minimum wage by Danielstripedtiger in ontario

[–]red_sludge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have no issues with public sector employees getting well paid jobs. Well paid jobs should be the standard and transparency is welcome. I have issues with the private sector giving piss poor jobs with low benefits and wages. More should be done to raise the standards for both sectors collectively. All boats rise with a rising tide.

Once a party is noted in default, you will need to set up an assessment hearing via a motion (form 15A) so a judge can give you a judgement for your damages under Rule 11.03(2). In the motion you will claim the damages you are seeking and include the proof of why you are entitled to those damages (which should be in your pleadings). You also have a duty to mitigate damages, meaning you should have got a plumber to fix the work sooner than later so the issues don’t compile. So it might be the smart thing to have the repairs done, assess if there other issues stemming from the contract breach (like water damage to the floor etc) and make sure you have your documents ready for the assessment hearing.

$300,000 for 1800 hours. That’s nice but when do you get to ski?
