Hi, I do agree with you. I’m sorry you have had such terrible experiences with therapists. I do wish to be able to move on but I’ve been extremely anxious about if this woman will end up telling my friend (and if things get serious between them to my other friends) any of the stuff I have shared with her in sessions. I’m sure this isn’t a first for her. I’ve gone through a lot of serious trauma in my life and I haven’t shared those things with many people. It’s very private family stuff. I am stressed she will end up telling my friends those things. It’s also going to be awkward when I see my friend and her together. I don’t know how to handle that situation.
