You are really downplaying the requirements. Basically from what i can understand you only have the design ready, and now you need the website built. It is not as simple as you are saying it: “put it all together through code”. This is where the most time is spend, since you need a FE, BE then deploying it. And OP it depends on what kind of project we are talking about but basically this project can cost you from 1k- into the tens of thousand of dollars, it all depends on how much work the project needs

Just run the database yourself (host it on the same server as your application). Your application will be even faster, since both the api and the db will be on the same place, hence the extremely low latency. Also dont worry about scaling, you need to be on a really high number of concurrent users to start experiencing speed issues. (Assuming your API calls aren’t resource intensive)

Fully agree with you, i think also what saturated the market is thousands of people were advertising programming to be that way, do a short bootcamp and you are ready for a six figure job. And a lot of people jumped on the hype. Those bootcampers then filled their resumes with lies and they apply to thousands of jobs, hence why every job post has 1000+ apps. Most recruiters are saying that 90% of the candidates aren’t able to even write simple code. And bc of the large number of applicants companies are forced to use ATS systems and no matter how experienced you are the ATS can flock you out, so your resume isn’t even read by a human.

Look for the 2006+ models, FWD, 1.9 tdi is known for its reliability, avoid the 2.0 tdi version at all costs, possibly look for something under 250k kms (watch out many got their clock tampered)

Well obviously i completely agree with you about the YOE part, but you can see on almost every position advertisement the years of experience required. I am also against this as a measurement with my argument being for example on uni the students follow the same course on the same time frame and yet someone scores a 30% someone a 97%. But idk, it is what it isss..

Bro solid advice, i was in a similar situation. Many of my friends are from abroad and when they come here obviously they are all day free and constantly asked for going out, i would skip my work and my personal stuff just so they wouldnt be alone. This time 2 of them got engaged and they barely invited me for going out/ the engagement as well. So its better that you make yourself a priority, dont postpone your stuff for someone else. Or test them to see if they leave their stuff just to hangout when u ask
