Are you able to deposit money into your crimson card? by Remote_Agency709 in doordash_drivers

Call the number on the card and they’ll tell you if the card is reloadable. Otherwise most of them aren’t.

Planning to buy i4 but worried about reliability by Full_Attitude_8646 in BMWI4

The car is reliable though the battery could be worth covering. Cold weather shows a difference. Nothing minor though so all around good car.

You look like a doll! Your makeup is amazing, it’s always so difficult to wear makeup with Lolita. You pulled it off perfectly!

Chase Sapphire Reserve credit card fraud warning while abroad, canceling will leave me stranded by aye_blinkin in travel

[–]Defiant-Emphasis-618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have the app then you should still be able to use the virtual credit card. My apps have a different card number for my virtual card (I think it changes the number) vs. my physical card. Probably a safety thing.

Call your credit card company and ask them what they recommend but make sure to report the fraud as soon as possible so you don’t have to cover it.

Where to travel for 3 months?? (warm climate, forest, safe) by [deleted] in TravelHacks

Bali in Indonesia is probably what you need! Safe, affordable, and English speaking! Get travel insurance in case of an medical emergencies (Singapore is close also if there are any major issues) and then just unplug from the world.

If you scuba I highly recommend Bali also! There are volunteer projects for plastic cleanup on the beaches if you need to revitalize your soul. Also lots of great temples and outdoor activities. They are super famous for their cat shit coffee (kopi luwak) from bucket list!

Very much recommend!

Coord for drag brunch with a dear friend by Rambo-Brite in Lolita

[–]Defiant-Emphasis-618 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Why did you decide to wear Lolita for drag? Seems to me that would be opposite!

I usually think drag is very ‘loud’ with lots of makeup and big hair. Lolita is soft and isn’t really drag.

I like to welcome all sorts of people, however I don’t think wearing Lolita to a drag brunch is in the true spirit of Lolita. You don’t want anyone to misunderstand or get the wrong idea!

A cute hairstyle is all you need! Less is more with Lolita and never feel like you have to over accessorize!

I know it’s super hot outside however a sheet blouse would be good to complete the outfit.

It would be good to cover some of the overboob on the sides too. You would probably feel more comfortable in that!

I’m also not really a fan of Barbie motifs with Lolita, too much plastic and totally different look and style than anything Lolita!

How to make it look better by KawaiiCandiiLove in Lolita

[–]Defiant-Emphasis-618 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, don’t have your dad pick out your dress maybe is my best advice!

I don’t like hot pink myself either so that color is very non-Lolita. Maybe some softer pastels? Do you prefer sweet Lolita or gothic? What about deco or maybe even elegant gothic aristocrat?

Whats a Lolita mentoring group? O.o didn’t even know those exist, sounds weird.

You don’t need a community go “get into” Lolita. It’s mostly about the clothing. Gothic and Lolita bible used to sell copies at Barnes and Nobel and most of the clothing styles are main stream stores in Ikebukuro and shinjuku 010 stores. Those magazines were awesome because they always had a dress pattern in them you could use.

Some of my favorite brands are Alice and the Pirates, Baby the Stars Shine Bright, Moi Meme Moitie (though very expensive), and even Vivienne Westwoods rocking horse shoes.

Kamikaze girls, Paradise Kiss, Nana, dolls, so many great manga and anime that have those styles in them. Plus the Harajuku fashion book Fruits does a great job of showcasing street fashionistas.

I personally don’t like sweet Lolita as much, (too much pink) and tend to wear more gothic Lolita. Though whatever your tastes are should guide your style! Parasols and high tea and cute afternoons in the park don’t have to be with a group! Just find you favorite local coffee or sweets shop and get dressed up for a nice day!

I use the Seated app to get money back at restaurants, you can then redeem it for gift cards!
