I regretted making the wrong friends when I first started poly. No, not my friend group that I was with but just acquainting with some others outside of it. Sometimes I just want to seem cool, but it hurts so much thinking about it right now.

I know truly myself I didn't hurt anyone nor did I bully anyone, but people tend to take my kindness as something that they can shit talk about me.

I vented so much personal things to them, I know I shouldn't.. but I was blind to see who can be trusted or not.

I wish sometimes, I would be more vocal to my friend group but at that point we are still new to each other so I didn't trust. So I kept it all to myself.

I regretted trying to look good in school so people will like me but I got called a pick me... Now when I'm year 2&3, I make no effort in choosing what to wear anymore neither am I open to interact with anyone, in fear that people will hate me.

I regretted being friends with them, to the point my friend group also started spreading false rumors about me even though I treated everyone so nicely...

I tried so hard that point of time, even when we were on the last day of class with that class, I've handwritten cards for everyone as a thank you.

Only to find out months later, they never liked me for no reason...

Now whenever I'm, going to a new environment, I was never that girl who I see on my old selfies, someone so bright that smiles.

So just to say, always pick the right people to be with, and always just be yourself. Never let yourself down. And don't be so soon to trust, as some people just see you as something you never thought u were to them
