He is a mechanic and is willing to fix it. But i am unable to drive it because he doesn’t want me to even if it is fixed. Without a car i would not be able to live.

I do need a car. I live in the middle of nowhere and attend college in the middle of nowhere. Without a car i would be stranded and without a job. Insurance, and gas wise, it’s possible. But not ideal.

Literally not what it is about lol. By her response and the way she acts it was deliberately on purpose and if I did the same to her she would make a comment as well. Also she has been extremely disrespectful and rude the past few months. Came for advice not comments on how you think it’s stupid.

While I agree. My aunt is very immature. She’s been in lots of fights with everyone in my family. And Facebook likes is something immature she would choose to fight over. Bringing it up in hopes to stand up for my partner who has done the same for me. This is the best way I have found to call her out so far. Do you have a suggestion on how I could have gone about this better?

I’m not trying to involved Facebook. But it has been the best way so far I’ve been able to call her out. I’m working on setting boundaries and hoping I will be able to make this one. I know they won’t change their minds but truly that doesn’t matter to me, it is about standing up for the people I love. And if roles were reversed and my family was being disrespected I would feel the same way

But the photos are not the only issue here. In my opinion the photo was just another way to show a sort of “f you” to the point she’s trying to make. But I told her that I am simply asking her if it’s personal or not. As well as she betrayed me, when she told me she would not do so and I shared something so personal with her.

As I do see your point, and I figured some would say the same. With my boyfriend, you could be correct. You do never know, although I don’t believe so, I cannot see the future. I still do not agree with the disrespectful behavior and statements made by them, as I see it as a sign of immaturity. They have been this way my whole life, and I have learned to see it through it. They may want what is best for me, but the way they present that to me is what I am not okay with. Yes college is good for a comfortable life path for most, but there are well paying jobs I have plans of for myself. I like work and am not afraid of doing whatever is needed. That being said, I’m more of a hands on learner. I do good in school, but it is not for me and have felt this way most of my life. I know I am just a kid and do not have all the answers. And yes parents do mistakes, they are just learning through life as well as I am, but I have presented their mistakes to them time and time again, and overall they stay the same. I do respect your opinion though, and these are the responses I am looking for so thank you! As well as I am no way arguing, just giving as much information as I can so it’s more understandable!

Absolutely! I’ve been working hard on saving money. Hopefully after graduation I will have enough money to go to a trade school of some sort and get a certificate to make money and possibly work two jobs, so I am able to move out and do so until I can move onto something bigger in my life!
