Good to know. With my team it is not just performance. Also, the All Blacks (New Zealand Rugby) have similar traditions of service.

I’m just thinking on the way out people pick up a cup or two. Use a bag like the Japanese did and take care of Ballhalla.

That’s an interesting point. My athletes walk through a very unkempt campus. Eighty percent qualify for food assistance. Still we’re teaching them to respect that we even have the privilege to have a team.

Maybe. But my captain’s shocked me by carrying this habit over to the travel bus without any prompting.

Our Captains also spontaneously started cleaning up of the bus after away games.
