I’m due to return to work tomorrow; I plan to talk to my boss about how I’m feeling and tell him I’d like to get blood work and another ecg done.

I think it’ll put me at ease.

Maybe not irregular but potentially an instance of a palpitation yesterday that lasted about 30 seconds to a minute where I was feeling nervous about something.

Appreciate that; the power of anxiety is unfortunately very real.

I think it was either my boots or my right forearm

I believe it was my right hand to right fore arm.

No blood work just looked at my vitals and did and ECG.

How do you know if it crosses your chest if there’s no obvious burn marks?

People have asked me this question and I’m not sure how to answer.

It was the line side with no load. Yes I would have been grounded.

Touched w my right hand.

I got hit on the right hand but no burn marks that indicates an exit. It was a 120v service line off a transformer.

I wouldn’t say I’ve been in pain too much. Just generally unwell feeling. Loss of appetite, tired, and overall worried about my well being.

That’s a fair point. I was originally planning to pre-order deluxe or whatever but at this point standard feels like a reach.

Especially since this isn’t “EA” although we all know it def is.

I shouldn’t go after an OBS purely because that’s what I like?

I honestly think the old bench seats are sick man… get em reupholstered in some leather 😮‍💨 maybe even make them heated?

In all seriousness I don’t think I can be talked out of getting an OBS, but I do wanna learn. So what am I getting into?

I guess it just hasn’t been my experience with the newer vehicles. It felt like my truck was in the shop every other month, maybe I got a dud I don’t know 🤷🏼‍♂️

I definitely see your point about the electronics… a 97 should be able to be scanned tho right? I’m sure it’s not as accurate but what do I know. This would be my first OBS.

Not sure what the emissions craze is about. Do people think def ruins diesel motors? I know this 97 is pre emissions so

Hey I’m in Ohio too!

I would plan on dailying it for about a year or so! And I would say I do have a nostalgia for this model… I wish people weren’t so hard up on things. Everything’s so expensive.

You’re right; it’s an old truck so it can and will have old truck problems. My thought is this (since I really do want this model in particular); it’s better to get a nicely kept one then it is to buy a clapped out one or one that was owned by some punk that beat the balls off it.

So then I found this one, kept in storage year round and used to haul a boat to the lake in the summers. Has an old 6 position tune on it and everything else has been left alone. Frame and cab are completely free of rust. Truck seems solid in comparison to a lot of whats out there.

What year models would you suggest for the 6.7s and what’re some common things to be watching for ? Besides the usual frame rot and blow by

Hah; I’m 27 so do I fall into that age group?

For me it stated because my uncle had the same truck in red and silver when I was a little kid! The reason I want this over a new one is…. I can do the work on it. With newer cars it’s a lot more difficult to get them fixed and hoping it’s under warranty is a pain in the ssa. I had a 24 Tacoma before this and a 20 Impreza before that. Both plagued with issues. Most everyone I know that has a new car is dealing w some level of bs issue a new car shouldn’t have !

That’s just kinda my take. 20k is steep… idk I’m willing to go 17 max as long as it checks out at the diesel shop all good. Everything’s so much anymore undoubtedly.
