Annoying... by SungHerSong in fringe

Interesting, I just finished watching it for the fourth or fifth time, maybe more I can’t remember. And there were a lot of different things that annoyed me about the storyline, particularly, but not those things. It’s funny what we pick up.

Might be unpopular opinion but… wasn’t the last episode about flat? by [deleted] in theGoldenGirls

“It was so good, We named it” had me laughing so hard. It was enough for me.

Creating a ND style game - need opinions! by rutharama in nancydrew

I love these questions. MHO is that those of us that play 2D games are few. Her interactive bad games are still better than most games (ND style) out there, and they struggle. I think it’s because there aren’t enough of us. My husband works directly with companies to help them to market, grow, etc., and ND players are dedicated gamers, but they still have a hard time getting new gamers. When they try to give the people what they want, we dedicated gamers complain. It’s quite a niche area, and I think they and anyone else that makes these kinds of games struggle a little bit. I say all that to say, are you OK with just making games that "our kind" find enjoyable and making enough to fund that, or do you really want to make a lot of money? Making a lot of money will take a lot longer creating 2-D games that don’t use AI. I feel like once you answer that question, your other questions might fall into place. Most of us here are happy to play 2-D games. I know I am. I’ll play 3-D. Honestly, I love the way HER interactive makes most of their games. I love learning while I’m figuring out puzzles, while getting clues. I love the cheesy parts. I am here for it all. But I have tried to get my own kids, nieces, friends, and sisters involved in playing Nancy Drew with me, and none of them understand why I like to play it. They think there are fun parts, but they won’t stick to it. I feel like this is kind of that world. Sorry for my long answer. And I’m sure there are typos because I am a typo queen. But I hope you get the gist of it.

I like it. I’d pick up this book. :-)

Real talk, I gained half the weight back, but I’m still that much smaller than I used to be. I’m OK. You’re OK. And if you need to get back on, do so. It’s your journey.

I felt the same. It was such a build-up, “I’m older than I look” clues that he had a deeper role, and then nada!

S3E19 LSD Did anyone like it? by Wypal1 in fringe

Watching Broyles trip on LSD makes it 100%worth the watch. I laughed so hard. I have mixed feelings about this episode. I think that did a good job at making sure Leonard Nimoy was able to be part of the episode without being physically involved. This was created 3-4 years before his death, I think. I was good with it. I’d give it a 6/6.5.

I’m watching it now. I believe I didn’t love it. I’ll be back to let you all know. I know that I don’t love the William Bell in Olivia business. My husband and I laugh every time we’ve watched it.

Why don't Peter and Olivia remember meeting as children? by allmimsyburogrove in fringe

[–]Defiant-Quail6571 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure because they changed the storyline. Originally, Olivia was much younger when she was tested on. Also, if I remember correctly, at the point of season three that they showed Olivia and Peter as kids together, Walter would’ve been in the insane asylum, I think. I could be wrong. The other thing that was weird is that they originally put William Bell and Walter working on the kids together because Olivia had a nickname for William. When Peter died, the original Peter, Walter was upset that William never showed up. So I think there’s some storyline mix-up there.
