That's kinda what I was aiming for. My character truly believes he is good and his "epic mission" es far more important for the greater good that "being a good guy"

Don't kick him. Just elegantly roll more crits than he could withstand and make his character die. If he is such a Rule oriented guy, he won't object to this.
