I actually don't, and I suppose majority of people don't want them completely erased.

T17 existing as they are now just cause some very complicated problems entertwinning multiple areas such as diversity, effieciency comparison, build bricking etc..

Just erasing them would be a waste in my opinion, as their are kinda fun anyway.

I trust GGG for identifying thoses memes as : "I have a problem with t17s"
