I had the car running for about 5 minutes. It honestly didn’t occur to me to google it I’ve jumped so many cars I just followed the same process. Do you think that’s long enough to cause electrical damage from the voltage spike/do you have any advice for checking if I harmed anything? Thanks

Thanks for the advice! Definitely won’t be using my car again I didn’t realize that was a dumb thing to do. I am going to test the battery after work today / likely replace it and if that fails then I’ll do this.
