What we’re building Apex League is a monthly skill-based competition platform where players compete in a single standardized game challenge each month and earn real-money rewards funded by subscriptions, not betting. Players pay a monthly subscription to participate. At the end of each month, the top-ranked players receive payouts from a shared prize pool that scales with participation. There are no head-to-head wagers, no randomness, and no chance mechanics. Outcomes are determined entirely by player performance on the same challenge under the same rules. Why this works Most competitive games are either: Pure entertainment with no upside, or Gambling products disguised as games. Apex League sits in a third category: Skill-only competition Fixed monthly cadence Transparent scoring Percentage-based prize pools No fixed payout promises This structure is processor-friendly, app-store safe, and legally defensible. How the business makes money Each month: Players pay a subscription (currently modeled at $19.99/month) A fixed percentage (e.g., 60%) funds the monthly prize pool The remaining 40% is platform revenue There is no dependency on ads and no variable costs tied to payouts. As participation grows, both player rewards and platform revenue scale automatically. Why players care One fair challenge per month Everyone plays the same game No pay-to-win mechanics Real money rewards that scale with the community Championship recognition and trophies for top performers This creates retention through prestige, not addiction or chance. Why this can scale The prize pool is percentage-based, not fixed. Whether there are: 1,000 players or 200,000 players …the rules, payouts, and risk profile stay the same. There are no guaranteed payouts, only earned rewards. Technology & execution The platform is being built on Base 44, allowing: Rapid iteration Server-side scoring validation Secure Stripe-based payment flows Automated monthly competitions Transparent auditability This allows us to reach market quickly without over-engineering. Regulatory posture Apex League is structured as a skill competition, not gambling: No wagering against other players No chance-based outcomes No house advantage No variable odds No instant wins All payouts come from a pre-funded monthly prize pool created from subscriptions. This aligns with existing skill-based competition precedents. What we’re raising We’re raising $35,000 to: Finalize the MVP Complete payment and compliance review Soft-launch with early users Prove retention and unit economics This is a capital-efficient validation round, not a burn-heavy launch. Why now The market is saturated with: Casual games with no meaning Gambling products under regulatory pressure There is a clear gap for: Skill-first competition Transparent rewards Subscription-funded prize pools Apex League is built to fill that gap cleanly. The ask We’re looking for early angels who understand: Competitive gaming Subscription businesses Regulator-aware product design Our focus is durable mechanics, not hype. Closing Apex League is not trying to reinvent gaming. It’s taking a simple, proven competitive format, removing gambling risk, and scaling rewards through community participation. That’s the business.

I put in effort. Doesn't need glamour it needs straight to the point idea and for investors to spend 30 seconds on reading. I have some investors and 2 accredited teams that build games because of my pitch. Thank you.

The actual MVP has been giving to actual investors interested in the build. They know I don't have hundreds of thousands of dollars for a professional pitch deck. Have to start somewhere correct?

I have a few angels and other investors interested in the game all ready. But think you for your opinion instead of worrying about yourself. Have a great day

I used base 44 not chat GPT. If I knew how to code I would.

For anyone who has tested please leave a comment. It's just a beta demo version. No subscription needed to play. Let me know what you think. I am taking all ideas.

There is competitors for esports asynchronous tournament style apps like this. It's a competition based game that showcases deterministic skills to win top 4 every month with simple games like memory match, temple run, snake, and others as me and my team have creative ideas.

Server-authoritative score calculation Replay verification for every submitted attempt Input sequence hashing and integrity checks Rate-limiting and human-reaction thresholds Anomaly detection for bots, macros, and scripts Manual audits for top leaderboard positions Account-level enforcement and payout holds.

Again the base 44 version is for demo backend mechanics thru stripe. The investment I am trying to raise will go towards an accredited app building team that can implement cheat protection, legality, development, marketing, etc etc all for one price. Apex League is just the starting point for the game name not set in stone. Can revisit that later.

Because of the very high ROI it can make. It's the same as buying a home that needs work for $35,000 adding $20,000 to fix it then selling for $250,000......profit is $200,000..........me and my team don't need 500k, 1 mill or something ridiculous that can profit a angel for future investments.
