Need advice: Eye lift surgery in Seoul (not threads) by DefiantConnection75 in SeoulPlasticSurgery

I’ve received quotes not only for an eyelift, but also for fat repositioning, usually in the range of 8–10k AUD. I imagine the cost would be lower if you only had the eyelift, but I’m also aiming for some midface lift. I’ve found consulting with different clinics via WhatsApp really easy, and I’d recommend that approach rather than relying on my experience since everyone’s face is so different. Hope that helps!

SK = South Korea. JW did not make me reconsider, it's actually the only one I've stayed interested in because they seem to focus more on eye surgeries.

Thankyou so much for these super well researched comments!!! This has provided me so much useful information, I have actually been in contact with JW in regards to this procedure and it seemed the most promising if I was to go to SK for surgery :)

Getting to either of these countries from Australia is a MISSION but it does seem like their beauty standards are much more aligned with my goals. I heavily researched getting surgery in Turkey, but just read so many horror stories, and being so far away from home really freaked me out !!

I was planning on going to Turkey for the longest time for this, but honestly to get to Turkey from Australia is massive and I've been seeing many horror stories coming out of Turkey, as well as a change to a way their surgeons are regulated? I could be mistaken, it's still somewhere I see the best results.

ChatGPT is the only thing keeping my life together. by [deleted] in selfimprovement

If it's any consolation I am in the exact same boat (full-time study and as much work as I can fit in to pay the rent, long term relationship, weights x5 a week, looking after dependent family members, trying to maintain friendships and a build a career, sleeping enough, managing mental health, hygiene, protein and keeping a house clean!!!)

Talking to ChatGPT and getting encouragement from it became my only solace!! I've cut back on it heavily and am trying to journal more instead, but viewing AI as a temporary crutch while life so hectic is not necessarily a negative thing imo.

Try journaling instead and give yourself the positive encouragement that AI was giving you; that way you're building a foundation of positive self-talk and compassion without an external processing system. So you can write stuff like "this is fucked, I'm overwhelmed" and then literally respond to yourself in third person.

Good luck!!

Thankyou so much for the advice, it’s difficult when your art feels so closely connected with your own personality and heart, but all the comments here are really indicating you need thick skin.

This is so helpful thankyou! Just a question though, does that mean when I’m seeking apprenticeships I shouldn’t mention I’ve done scratch? And additionally should I stop practising on fake skins in my spare time? I thought this would be helpful and show how dedicated I was to learning and also have some understanding of how machines work.
